SUNBURNT (NW1/2YOF) well-bet second choice tucked twice, rallied gamely but was short in the photo to the pacesetting favorite.
MAHOME SEELTER (NW2) won going away off the pocket trip.
MATS MVP and CM SAVEWILL GI (NW1) stablemates were one-two in last as the favorite and second favorite and either one would be no shocker in next.
Friday, September 30
KICKUPYAHEELS N (NW12000FM) tucked, improved to the pocket in the final turn but had no room to rally and had to take up badly in the late stages of many horse photo.
PERSISTENT BOY (NW3) was 4th over the last turn, rallied stoutly to be second at the end to the going-away winner.
DARKRSHADEOFPALE N (NW2150FM) was parked the mile, grinded on the rim to be third over by the final turn, closed gamely and earns a long look in next.
DRAGN ENERGY (NW3950) tucked, sat pucket and battled gamely to the end to earn a dead heat for 2nd at over 20-1.
Saturday, October 1
CARBINE (NW18000) yielded, retook, set a good pace and held well in quick mile.
WOODMERE STEALDEAL (NW18000) sat near the rear at over 30-1, raced third over and finished strong to earn a look in next.
SAINT ANTOINE (OntSS) left, tucked, pulled uncovered to the third panel at over 35-1, challenged, put away the leader, dug in but was nailed by the pocket- sitting winner.
TATTOO ARTIST (OPEN) set his own clip, put the field away with a :26 2/5 third panel and will win again if not tested early.
Monday, October 3
PARTYINTHESHADOWS (CLMHCP22/30000) sat buried to the final turn, angled out, slipped wide, rallied all out and got up for 3rd in game effort. Got claimed and should not be ignored.
DEALIN WITH DEWEY (NW6500) trotter was parked the mile, grinded up uncovered, challenged by headstretch, dug in and gutted it out to the last steps.
RIGHTEOUS RESOLVE (OntSS) was an easy wire-to-wire winner in romp and should take more.
AUSSIE LOVER (POPUP) closed well from third over to get up for 2nd behind the pacesetting odds-on favorite.
