Woodbine Mohawk Park: Horses to watch from Sept. 26 - Oct. 1

Thursday, September 26
MONEYMAKEHERSMILE (NW2FM) finished well from third over but was much too late. Well-bet second choice may get a better trip in next race or two.
TEDDYS LITTLEANGEL (OntSS) tucked early, got shuffled, rallied late but ran out of track.
ROYAL RENEGADE (NW3900) brushed to the half and rolled home a handy winner.
ANGERS BAYAMA (NW2) won again in fast wire-to-wire romp and looked like he can win again.
Friday, September 27
AMERICAN SARA (NW15000FM) took an early tuck, had no room in the lane but appeared willing.
LIT DE ROSE (NW15000FM) left to the top at 33-1, yielded, got shuffled, improved back to the pocket past the third call, rallied gamely and earns a long look in next.
BETTER BE DONNA (NW15000FM) was parked to the lead, yielded and sat pocket, pulled and challenged late in the final turn, had aim but faltered. Could get luckier in next.
WINDSONGMAGNIFIQUE (NW15000FM) rallied best of all from nowhere and could be more impressive in next.
Saturday, September 28
MISS CONGENIALITY (GRASSROOTS) was buried on the rail at 22-1, found room in the late stages up the rail and closed with good energy.
SUGARTOWN (GRASSROOTS) closed best from 4th over and could get luckier with a better trip.
ENCARNACION (GRASSROOTS) was buried to the lane, tried to go inside but had no room, patiently angled wide to clear traffic and finished with willing trot.
SO MUCH MORE (GRASSROOTS) was the impressive wire-to-window winner in last and had plenty left.
Monday, September 30
BEAUMOND HANOVER (NW1/2YO) slipped off the rail, avoided an early breaker, rallied up third-over and roared home strongly to win in debut.
MEADOWBRANCH MEMO (NW3000) tipped in the lane from the back of the pace and rushed home strongly but it was too late. Beaten favorite should not be ignored in next.
ALICORN (OntSS) put up a wicked :26 last panel to win going away from second over and should take a few more.
OFF THE PRESS (OntSS) was in traffic and cleared too late to get it done. Next time should be the charm.
Tuesday, October 1
P L IDAHO (CLMHC18/25000) came up uncovered, rallied to the leader, pressed to mid-lane before tiring.
YOUR STILL UP (OntSS) closed gamely from second over at 11-1 and earns a long look in next.
PERFECT STORM (NW1/2-3YOF) tucked early, pulled and brushed to the lead and never looked back in ope- length romp.
HP ROYAL THEO (OntSS) stormed through the lane from a distant third over posting a quick :26 4/5 last panel to win last and should win a few more.
