MOVE YOUR MASS (NW1/2YO) left well, got shuffled, pulled uncovered, challenged and blew by to jog to victory.
ACEFORTYFOUR DAISY (POPUP) finished full of pace between horses and was second at the wire.
BETTORHOLDONTIGHT (POPUP) roared home wide and strong from far back to be second best and would be no surprise.
EXCITING MIA (3YOF) tipped into the lane and closed stoutly to be second at over 14-1 last time around facing other Grassroots starters.
Friday, September 20
SHOOT THE WHISKEY (NW4550FM) finished full of pace from far back to be second to the front-stepping odds-on favorite and should do well in next.
DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN (NW1400FM) moved early, took the lead and was a handy wire to wire winner in quick time.
WENDELL BLUE CHIP (2YO) tucked to the quarter, pulled uncovered at the third call, challenged the prohibitive pacesetting favorite but was a game 2nd best at 20-1.
CHEESY SMILE (NW8600FM) finished best of all from far back and can take this kind with earlier move.
LONGSHOT PANIC (NW1) broke before the start, settled, rallied third over, went wide in the final turn with good finish and bears watching.
Saturday, September 21
GAINES HANOVER (OPEN) even-money second choice moved the final turn with good trot, went wide as the pocket pulled, hit his best stride a step or two late to be second to the odds-on favorite.
TAURASI (OPN/HCP) beaten favorite finished full of pace but had much too far to come.
CODE CRACKER (COND) saved, tipped in the final turn, finished full of pace and was second on the wire.
BETTERWITHGLASSES (3YOF) left well, got shuffled, sat three-holed to the lane, tipped and closed well but had moved too late. Beaten favorite should not be ignored.
Monday, September 23
FROWNIES MIRACLE (CLMHCP14/18000) brushed and crushed. Got claimed and should be the one to fear in next.
NIGHT CLUB HANOVER (COND) tipped the final turn, wheeled wide, finished fast from nowhere and just missed in three-horse photo.
NEW RULES (NW16,250) was parked to the lead but that was where the excitement ended as he jogged around the oval winning as he pleased.
TWIN B POWERBALL (NW4000) saved, hit stride late, finished fast up the rail and missed by only a half.
