MAIZE AND BLUE (OntSS) beaten favorite was pressed all the way and dug in but was nailed by the late move of the pocket sitting winner.

TROUBLE WITH NAMES (OntSS) finished full of trot in last passing a slew of foes and would be no surprise.

UPGRADE (OntSS) finished well to put in a noticeable last panel and should be considered.

NORTHERNLIGHTS GLO (NW1/2YOF) was bet off the board and romped to break her maiden too easily to not think she can do it again.

FORT LIBERTY (NW1/2YO) went down the road at 32-1 to be second best to the pocket sitting second-choice winner and bears watching.

Friday, September 18

BUSSY MISS LISSY S (ELEGANTINE) was uncovered a long way in her elimination, challenged to the last steps. Beaten favorite can atone with better trip next time out.

TAINTED LOVE (OntSS) rushed up uncovered at 12-1, battled with the odds-on favorite and was held at bay. Same move can get her a win in next race or two.

RAPTORS WON (NW2500FM) trailed, rallied late and passed a slew of foes to earn a look in next.

MARGOSGOTTHECARGO (NW6250FM) sat in, finished full of pace up the rail passing many and would be no surprise in next.

CARRERA SUNSET N (NW12000FM) put in a good front-stepping effort at 8-1 but was second in the photo to the late-closing pocket sitting favorite in a quick mile.

CANT TURN YOU DOWN (OntSS) brushed, held a challenger at bay to win her 7th in a row.

ARTISTIC DELIGHT (NW3FM) went wide early to clear a clogged rim, chase and challenged uncovered to the lane at nearly 38-1. Tired and backed off a little but stayed around for third place and will be the one to beat with a better trip.

Saturday, September 19

EXACTLLY CORRECT (OntSS) tucked, brushed and wired the field in much the quickest of the Grassroots races.

PACINO HANOVER (NW13500) trailed at 64-1, rallied late and best half his foes in in latest and should do better in next.

STRONGMAN HANOVER (NW3) rallied between horses, cleared too late but could get it done with better racing luck.

SHALOM HANOVER (METRO) tucked, brushed and was all wrapped up in the fastest of the Metro Elims. He is now 7-for-7 and will be the one to beat.

GLOBAL CHOICE (METRO) closed well from the back of the pack in his elim and could get it done with right trip in the Final.

Sunday, September 20

FAITH STEP (NW6000) finished full of trot from 4th over and just missed in last.

WANNABEABIGSTART (CLMHCP30/40000) went down the road and held with authority in speedy mile.

SOUTH PARK (OntSS) sat buried, tipped in the lane, closed strong and was second best to the drifting favorite at odds of 103-1.

UNGAWA (NW12000) left and was about to challenge the pace, broke, took back, came on late to get up for 3rd and would be no surprise.

SHAKE YOUR MASS (OntSS) put in a good front-stepping effort at 18-1 but was nailed by the late, wide, flying favorite. Should be in the hunt in next.

STORMONT VIOLET (OntSS) was the even-money favorite and nailed the top one rallying third over in quick mile.

Monday, September 21

CANADIAN BLONDES (OntSS) pulled the pocket as the second favorite, battled to the end as the prohibitive favorite rallied wide, got headed on the wire in fast mile.

COLD CREEK NACHO (NW1) was buried to the lane, slipped out, cleared late and closed well to earn some looks in next.

STEALY DELIGHT (OntSS) sat in traffic to the late stages, cleared and rallied willingly and could get luckier in next.

TWIN B SHOWBIZ (NW2) beaten favorite finished well from third over but was second to the late-closing winner's huge rally and can atone.

IDIDITMYSHUI (CLM8000) rallied gamely uncovered and just missed to the tiring pacesetting favorite and got claimed.
