ANN (NW1/2YOF) brushed and crushed to score at first asking. Scoring at second asking seems more than probable.
SOAR HIGHER (CHAMPLAIN) had a troubled trip and still managed to earn second place.
MS CHANTALMACHABAY (CLMHCP15/18000FM) finished wide, late and strong from nowhere to get up for second to the odds-on favorite and bears watching.
ZIPPY ZIPPORAH (NW1/2YOF) tucked, brushed and put away the field easily in latest.
Friday, September 15
VOELZ DELIGHT (NW9350FM) beaten favorite took an early tuck, pulled to the half, moved up uncovered with good pace, rallied gamely but was second best. Can atone with better racing luck.
MY HOLY MOLEY (COND) was wide a long way losing best chance but showed some late rally in the lane. Do not ignore.
MYSTIC WILD ROSE (GRASSROOTS) showed some good late speed going wide to clear quitting cover.
PROUD TO BE LINDY (NW2) put away a middle-half challenger and drew off in romp.
Saturday, September 16
CAPTAIN LUKE (METRO) was buried on the rail, tipped late in the final turn, finished full of pace to get up for second best to the pacesetting odds-on favorite.
WINNERS BET (CANADIAN) closed with fast trot from third over to miss by only a neck to the odds-on favorite and bears watching.
JABBERWOCKY (NW26700) went down the road at a good clip and was nailed on the wire. Should give it another try in next.
QUICK STOP (ELEGANT) trotter closed well to get up for third from third over. Well-bet second choice may get in gear sooner next time.
CAPTAINS QUARTERS (METRO) beaten favorite was buried on the rail to the final turn, tipped, slipped wide and closed very fast to get up for second.
Monday, September 18
MACHIN A TRICK (CLMHCP12/16000) sat last, rallied wide, late and fast but ran out of track.
BETTORHOLDONTIGHT (NW2) finished full of pace at over 40-1 to get second to the betting favorite.
ROLL WITH THE FLOW (NW9000) beaten favorite was one of many victimized by quitting foe and closed too late. Can atone with better trip so do not ignore.
BELLA CAVALLA (W2-4) beaten favorite brushed early, set her own pace over a tiring track, lost the lead heading home to the very well bet pocket sitting second choice, dug in gamely but could not get the win.
Tuesday, September 19
TROPHY TAKER (NW1/2YO) finished in :26 3/5 from third over to just miss the favored pocket-sitting winner.
P L RINCHENIA (NW1/2YOF) put in a good down the road effort on a night when leaders were getting caught and was nailed by the odds-on pocket-sitting favorite.
VILLEFRANCHE AS (NW15500) trotter wired the field pulling away and can take another.
SHAE SHADOW N ROL (CLMHCP25/35000) sat last with no interest, came wide with little but his stablemate took home the top prize as the odds-on favorite. This one can improve in next race or two for many reasons. Do not overlook.
