Thursday, September 11

KINGMEN (CHAMPLAIN) second choice followed the favorite's cover and nearly nailed him.

BLINDED BY DELIGHT (POPUP) yielded, retook and was a handy winner on the front end when speed was not holding up. She was bet like she should win some more.

TO LAURA HANOVER (NW1/2YOF) rushed up uncovered and blew by the field to win by 8 lengths.

ABOVEMYPAYGRADE (CLM20000) yielded twice and won going away in third move.

BETTERDOUBLEDOWN (NW1/FM) left, tucked, sat buried into the lane, escaped traffic edging wide and closed well to be second to the pacesetting winner.

Friday, September 12

RED BEACH ONE (NW1/2YOF) left to the top, yielded, sat pocket, rallied gamely and just missed in latest.

DENARIUS (CHAMPLAIN) left well, yielded and was shuffled, came uncovered, wore down the leader and won going away.

HEAD OF THE CLASS (NW3600) was second over and was second best at 55-1 to the odds-on winner and bears watching.

STORYBOOK LOVE (CHAMPLAIN) took the lead, yielded and got shuffled, sat three-holed at over 26-1, rallied gamely and just missed.

SUPERIOR DELIGHT (CLM20000FM) beaten favorite yielded twice, sat pocket but gain late to lose to the well-bet pacesetting second choice.

R DUTCHESS (3YOF) bet the max, filly left well to the top, yielded for the pocket, got locked in to the last steps and could atone in next.

Saturday, September 13

JACK PANIC (NW9000) finished full of pace in last on a card where speed ruled and could get it done.

LAKERS BANK (NW6000) closed well and just missed the pacesetting odds-n favorite.

LOUA DIPA (GREATLADY) wired the field in track and Canadian mark and will be the one to beat in next.

AMERICAN HISTORY (NW2500) veteran tucked early and blew the field away to score 50th lifetime win in impressive style and deserves kudos.

BEAU JANGLES (METRO) won his elimination in front-stepping fashion and is now 7-for-7 in career.

FRANTIC HANOVER (METRO) brushed early and won his elimination in front stepping fashion and is now 7-for-7 in career. Next race should be an interesting battle.

ABSOLUTION (PRF/FM) chased uncovered and was second best to the odds-on favorite in good effort and should be in the mix in next.

Monday, September 15

TACTICAL STRIKE (NW6000) beaten favorite rallied well from third over but came up short. Can atone with better trip.

BRITTAS BEST BET (OntSS) was parked the mile from post 10, challenged the pace to the lane before backing off at 37-1 and bears watching.

LAYDEE FREIGHT (OntSS) tucked into a tight space passing the quarter, pulled, raced third over, finished full of pace to just miss but was declared the winner when the pacesetter bore out causing interference. Will be the one to fear in the late stages again.

MEDLEY SEELSTER (OntSS) yielded twice and was a just-miss second in the photo to the prohibitive favorite.

SAPPHIRE STEVE (NW2) finished strong from third over in last to get up for second and deserves a long look.

RIGHT HERE HANOVER (NW3) beaten favorite was shuffled back early, brushed, yielded for the pocket and can atone in next.

Tuesday, September 16

PICK A GENRE (CLMHCP8/11000) pulled past the third call, rallied gamely despite broken equipment, gained cover as the winner pulled the pocket, kept coming and just missed. Beaten favorite will atone in next.

MAKINA RUN FOR IT (OntSS) took the lead, yielded to the prohibitive favorite, sat pocket and was second best at over 30-1 in last.

I LOVE THIS BAR (NW1/2YO) sat last, rallied late and fast picking off numerous foes in the lane and deserves a long look in next.

STOVID (3YOF) wired the field and was all wrapped up through the lane and can take another.

DREAM FOR PEACE (OntSS) sat three-holed, tipped in the final turn and won going away over the tiring pacesetter on a night when speed won most of the races.
