LUCY LOU WHO (NW1FM) was third over at 37-1 and just missed coming up a neck short in the photo despite the :26 4/5 last panel.

JULIA LABELLE (2YOF) rallied at nearly 25-1, challenged the favored pacesetter, got the best of her but was nailed by the tripped-out pocket sitting second favorite.

IMPERATIVE (NW2) well-bet favorite gained cover as the pocket horse pulled, went wide, won going away.

DAGGER ONE (2YO) was parked a long way to the lead at 46-1, set a pressed pace and was nailed by the huge finish of the late-closing winner.

A MOMENT OF GRACE (NW1/2YOF) finished strong at 28-1 from third over to be second to the winning favorite.

RULING MONARCH (NW1/2YOF) was last, rallied fast putting in a :25 3/5 last quarter at over 50-1 and deserves some attention.

Friday, September 11

CHER HILL (OntSS) took the lead, yielded, pulled the final turn and blew by winning by over six in latest.

BEAUTS CABARET (CHAMPLAIN) went down the road in convincing speedy mile and should be tough to catch in next.

PIPERS LUNA (NW3250FM) took the lead, yielded and was second best at every call chasing a very fast-footed victor.

MALICIA SPEED (NW3FM) sat in, flashed some good late pace late between horses at over 50-1 to get up for third.

Saturday, September 12

D A LETS BOOGIE (NW12000) sat in buried to the lane, tipped, found room between horses with strong finish and bears watching.

MOMAS SON BYRNE (NW2650) was parked to the lead, yielded for the pocket and was second best.

R J RINGO (NW6000) went down the road, proved second best to the wide, flying 2nd favorite's big finish.

JERSEY BULLDOG (CHAMPLAIN) wired the field in quick mile wrapped up posting a :26 last panel.

REDLAND ROCKET MAN (SIMCOE) sat pocket, closed handily off a fast pace to set a new Canadian record.

QUED UP (CHAMPLAIN) sat pocket, closed gamely to nailed the win and set a new Stakes record in the process.

Sunday, September 13

RYLENTLESS (CLM8000) went down the road, suffered broken equipment but held well while drifting a bit. Got claimed and will get it done.

STABLE GENIUS (NW6000) put in a solid front end jogburger to win 4th in a row.

SPRITE SEELSTER (NW2800) took the lead, yielded to the prohibitive favorite and was second best at every call at 40-1.

STORMONT BEAUTIFUL (NW31000) rallied late with good finish to be second to the prohibitive pacesetting favorite on a night when speed was the rule.

WANNABEABIGSTAR (CLMHCP30/40000) was in the pocket and bothered as the leader broke heading home. Rallied well once settled and could get luckier in next.

EUROBANK HANOVER (NW9000) tucked early, tipped to the third call, had to go wide, finished strong to be second best on the track and on the board. A better trip could be enough.

Monday, September 14

CENTURY MOO (CLM20000FM) finished full of pace to just miss the tiring winner.

TALBOT KRISTEN (CLM20000FM) trailed, blazed home in :26 4/5 passing many foes in the same race as above and bears watching.

ANNAS WISH (CLM8000FM) rushed up, challenged, put away the favorite, had aim but was second best to the late-closing winner.

DR DAVE (3YO) showed some good late speed navigating through traffic and should be in the hunt earlier in next.

STARBRIGHT DANCER (CLM20000) tucked, sat to the lane, tipped, closed strong to be second best to the favorite at odds of 69-1.
