ESQUIRE (CLMHCP12/15000) beaten favorite was parked to the lead, set a pressed pace, tired but held gamely getting caught by the late-closing second favorite.
LODI DORIAN BLUES (CLMHCP12/15000) was parked the mile, challenged and tired but was only 2 ½ lengths short at the wire.
OCEANVIEW MAGNUM (CLMHCP15/18000) rallied wide the third panel to the lane as cover quit and finished gamely to earn second place to the favorite.
MAJOR MUSCLE (NW11000) was in between horses with lotsa traffic through the lane.
MEADOWBRANCH MEMO (NW6700) showed strong late foot in between horses in game effort but had much too far to come.
Friday, October 18
PRESCIENT BEAUTY (NW3000FM) dropped in, raced second-over and came home stoutly to win going away.
FREE EXCHANGE (NW3FM) trailed to the lane, closed a ton to just miss.
LYONS HEDGEABET (NW26500FM) was a game second best uncovered to the pacesetting favorite.
OUR VACATION (NW11500FM) closed strong from 3rd ov to just miss at 99-1 getting outkicked by only the pocket-sitting favorite.
Saturday, October 19
ROCK THIS WAY (NW8000) closed well but late from third over and bears watching.
NOCTURNAL BLUECHIP (NW11000) trailed to the lane, finished strongest at 43-1 and can take it next time out.
MOGOLIAN HERO (NW5000) rallied wide chasing the pacestting winning favorite to the wire and was a game 2nd in the photo.
BILLS FELLA (NW5000) finished well but had gotten into traffic problems early stretch at over 40-1 and could surprise next race or two.
Monday, October 21
WINDSONG NAPOLEAN (CLMHCP12/15000) yielded twice, sat pocket and was second best in solid effort.
PRESTRIGE SEELSTER (NW2) brushed to the half and was a game winner. Short-priced favorite gets a long look in next.
ST JAMES GATE (NW3000) was parked forever from post 10, rallied wide and gobbled up foes to win going away as the leader hit the wall.
PERFECT STORM (NW2FM) was a strong closing winner as the even-money favorite in last and can step up to take another.
