MAGICS LUCKY CHARM (NW2FM) late-closing beaten favorite just missed and can atone in quick order.

SETANTA (NW3000) set the pace, met pressure when the favorite pulled the pocket, battled stubbornly in game second best effort.
TWENTY THREE RED (NW7000FM) was an impressive uncovered going away winner in last and should be tough to beat in next.
REQUEST FOR PAROLE (NW11000FM) beaten favorite came uncovered, challenged and dug in but was no match for the huge late kick of the second favorite who roared home from the moon--or so it appeared.
WALTER MITTY (NW5000) rushed to the top, set a pressed pace at 15-1. Shook off the challenge but was nailed by the second-over tripped-out winner.
Saturday, October 13

TRACEUR HANOVER (NW25000) put in a solid down the road effort under pressure the last half and tired.
KWIK TALKIN (NW11000) charged through the lane to outkick the tripped-out pocket-sitting favorite and would be no surprise in next.
ALWAYS A HOTSHOT (NW17000) went down the road under pressure the last quarter and got nailed by the pocketsitter.
Monday, October 15
FLASH A SMILE (HARVEST) tucked early, got badly shuffled, finished willingly and could get luckier in next.
TREASURED TEE (NW3) burshed and crushed and looked like their could be another win in store.
JUSTABIT MEAN (NW3200FM) rallied strong but late and would be no suprise.
TIGERS WAY (NW2650) closed wide with huge kick and might do it again.

A BOY NAMED SUUZZZ (CLMHCP18/25000) tipped into the lane with strong finish but had too far to come.
REAL WILLEY (CLMDCP15/20000) trailed in short field, had some traffic in the lane, rallied late on the inside and bears watching.
