Thursday, October 10
SPEED TO MARKET (CLMHCP12/15000) trailed to the lane, came wide, closed well to get up for 2nd.
CINNABAR DRAGON (NW3000) wired the field in latest and bears watching in next.
IONIA (NW3000) brushed to the half, took the lead, opened up and was a handy winner.
LOBEL BRUISER (NW1/2-3YO) was parked a long way to the lead, opened up and tired in good down the road effort at 27-1.
Friday, October 11
LIT DE ROSE (NW15000FM) broke before the start, trailed by a mile, rallied from the half to lane finished full of pace to miss the pacesetting odds-on favorite by a neck. Obviously the words "costly break" come to mind.
UNDEFIABLE (NW3FM) beaten favorite closed stoutly and appeared to be getting it done only to be overtaken by the ridiculously strong rally of the longshot winner. Gets one more look.
SETTE DEO (NW4) left well to the lead, yielded, sat pocket to the pacesetting favorite and refused to go away in game effort but just missed.
ERIKAS SHADOW (NW2FM) sat to the rear, roared home but missed by a half to finish third in the photo.
Saturday, October 12
THORN IN YOUR SIDE (NW5000) left well, got outkicked to the lead, got shuffled, got stuck in traffic through the lane.
CROFT BAY N (NW5000) followed the wide flow and finished best of all getting up for second at 60-1 but had a long way to come.
TORRIN HANOVER (NW17000) finished gamely from third-over just missing the whole ball of wax by a head.
EASY LOVER HANOVER (PRF) wired the field in solid win and can take another.
Monday, October 14
YOOOUKILIS (NW3000) closed well from third over and earns a look in next race or two.
BUTTERFLY KISSES (HARVEST) trailed to the lane, put in a strong rush through the lane in first-leg action.
SUPERLATIVE (NW7) was at the back of the pack and showed some good trot through the lane on a night when front-stepping winners were abundant.
MIA CULPA (HARVEST) closed late, wide and fast in latest just missing at 24-1.
