CHIEFS DREAM GIRL (OntSS) beaten favorite in her semifinal division rallied stoutly in the lane but it was too far to come.
SARATOGA BLUE CHIP (OntSS) was parked to the lead, yielded for the pocket, got stuck in stretch traffic freeing too late to launch his best bid.
WHAT A RUSH (NW3000) was buried on the rail, searched for room in the lane and just missed after finding late clearance.
CI SPORTSEXTREME (OntSS) was very wide and very strong but very late in her bid. Should not be ignored in the finals.
TIGERS WAY (NW3000) got off slowly, raced 5th over in to the lane and finished full of pace passing all but the winner.

Friday, October 2
NEED UR OPINION (OntSS) sat at the rear, slide out, angled wide and closed strong to be second best at 46-1.
RIPPED AND READY (OntSS) yielded, retook and made it look easy and should be tough in the final.
WESTBEACH (NW5500FM) brushed to the half, yielded for the pocket and won going away.
REIS STAR CROSS (NW3000FM) closed best from an impossible spot and could get it done with better trip.

Saturday, October 3
PHILLY HANOVER (NW19000FM) tucked early, pulled and brushed approaching the half, faced pocket pressure through the lane from the favorite but got it done in good time.
SWIFT ALLY (NW12000FM) followed the favorite wide and closed gamely but was second best at the wire.
DONT STOP BELIEVIN (NW8000FM) went to the top, yielded, retook and was a handy front-stepping winner on a night when speed was being caught.
ROYAL RENEGADE (NW8000) sat to the rear and closed with good pace between horses and bears watching.
BEST IN SHOW (PRFHCP) beaten favorite got off slowly, raced 3rd over in a weak flow but finished full of pace snapping a quick :26 2/5 last panel but was too late.

Monday, October 5
DAVID LLOYD GEORGE (NW1) left, settled for the early three hole, pulled and brushed past the half, yielded briefly, moved a third time to retake, dug in gamely but was headed at the wire in game effort.
OUTLAW ACEFOSPADES (NW3000) sat comfortably near the rear but coming to the third panel, made his move coming wide and finished strongly to win going away in impressive score.
BIG CITY NEWS (NW1) left to the top, yielded, got shuffled, rallied gamely and earns a look in next.
KEYSTONE APACHE (NW5000) sat to the final turn, ralliled wide from 3rd over at over 30-1. Do not ignore.
NOTAWORD N (NW2) tucked early, pulled second over and blindswitched the final turn, angled out heading home and finished gamely.

Tuesday, October 6
BUMP IN THE ROAD (NW1/2YOF) was fourth-over with strong finish to just miss and should get it done soon.
HAWAII (OntSS) filly finished with good trot but had a little too far to come. May get a better trip in next and would be no surprise.
MAGIC CAPE (OntSS) sat buried to the lane, tippped heading home but was tight between horses, angled out with good finish.
NICE KITTY HANOVER (NW2FM) closed stoutly to win going away and can take another.
