DR JOE (NW1) was parked the mile, grinded along, gained cover by the half, rallied gamely early stretch but tired.

DEVILS PEAK (CLMHCP12/18000) tucked past the quarter, got shuffled back, tipped by the third panel and closed well between horses to be second best.

BEACH GLASS (NW2) wired the field the way a prohibitive favorite is expected to do.

Friday, October 15

JUST DAISY (NW2FM) was a handy down-the-road winner in last over a track that looked like a backwoods stream and will be hard to beat in next.

MILLIES MILLION (NW2FM) was second best at every call to the top one over the rain-soaked track and deserves a look in next.

NEVER MIND (NW5000) was out a long way picking up cover, rallied gamely despited tiring.

JIMBELINA (NW3000FM) was a handy down the road winner in latest and should be tough again.

FOREFATHER (NW3) put in a solid wire to wire effort and was second best on the board and on the track to the strong favorite.

Saturday, October 16

PLAY JET RAY (NW5200) well-bet second choice was second at the wire to the favorite in down-the-road effort over a tiring track.

BEYOND BETTER (PRF/HCP) finished full of pace picking off numerous foes in last to earn 2nd place.

ENAVANT (PRF/HCP) trailed to the lane in same race and gobbled up ground and finish 3rd with a :25 2/5 last panel.

PRICELESS BEACH (NW8000) tucked to the quarter, slipped out passing the third panel and closed well.

YARIS SEELSTER (NW8000) pulled early and met unwanted cover, went wide to avoid but got caught wide as a few other foes pulled, tired by the third call while still 3-wide but deserves another look.

Monday, October18

SERENITY CRUISE (NW8500) left to the top, yielded and was shuffled, rallied late once clear of traffic.

LOVEMYROCKINBIRD (CLMHCP22/30000) went to the lead, yielded for the pocket and had to wait for an opening as the leader faltered.

THREEFIFTYTWO (NW12000) had poor cover and closed well. Beaten favorite can atone with better trip.

ZARCONIA SEELSTER (CLMHCP8/12000FM) closed well from third over in most recent and could get luckier in next race or two.
