HEAVENS PIC (NW2) trotter was out the final turn, won going away with big burst of speed and will be hard to hold off as he seeks another score.
COIN FLIP (CLM15000) beaten favorite was parked the mile, grinded on the rim and held well enough to think he can atone with better trip.
FOX VALLEY ONTARIO (3YO/NW1) closed with good energy from second over and just missed the odds-on pacesetting favorite.
Friday, October 14
UNIQUE ERA (NW2FM) sat last, rallied fast and got up for 2nd at the wire.
CAPITANO ITALIANO (NW3000) was parked to the lead, battled with the favorite's retake attempt, dug in to the lane before giving way. Could get luckier in next.
CASIMIR SWAMP GIRL (NW6400FM) tucked, sat pocket and got stuck in stretch traffic. Do not ignore.
MC KELLA (NW6400FM) tucked early, rallied late between horse and just missed the odds-on favorite.
Saturday, October 15
RIGHTEOUS RESOLVE (OntSS) brushed and was a handy winner in Gold Super Final. Filly should win some more races.
SNOWPIERCER (OntSS) rushed to the top, yielded for the pocket, had aim when the leader broke but was nailed on the wire at 17-1.
CHEESY SMILE (OntSS) well-bet favorite closed stoutly to win going away in her Gold Super Final.
CODENAME CIGAR BOX (OPN/HCP) finished full of pace at 10-1 to just miss the tripped-out odds-on favorite.
YOURTHEONE (COND) sat last and roared home to get up for 3rd in latest and bears watching.
Monday, October 17
SIMCOE SEELSTER (NW3) trailed all but the early breaker into the final turn, rallied strong and nailed 3d place at over 100-1.
PRIVATE SCOTT (CLMHCP15/20000) sat pocket and won going away over the pacesetting favorite. Got claimed and should be a serious threat in next.
UNCONTROLLED (HARVEST) tucked, tried to move in the lane but was stuck in traffic until the last moments.
FREE WILLY HANOVER (NW13300) showed some good trot between horses in the late stages and would get luckier in next race or two.
SIR GALAHAD (CLMHCP10/14000) closed a ton to nail down the win last time out and was claimed.
