STEADY HEART (HARVEST) second best on the board to the prohibitive favorite, closed strong up the rail to be second best on the track.
TALK SHOW HOST (NW1100) put away an early challenger, went down the road wiring the field in a romp.
CHOW FOR NOW (HARVEST) tucked passing the quarter, pulled to the half, pressed the pace set by the prohibitive favorite to the final turn before tiring.
ABSOLUTION (OPEN/FM) finished well from third over to just miss and bears watching.
Saturday, November 8
WANNABEABIGSTAR (NW9350) followed wide flow, closed strong and earns a long look in next.
ONE LAST WISH (NW14500FM) was parked to the lead, went down the road as the second favorite but was nailed by the late-flying favorite who flew home in :26 4/5.
WAFFLE BLUE CHIP (W3-5) prohibitive favorite was parked to the lead but won impressively and should take another.
JAYPORT CASH (HARVEST) finished full of trot to be second best at over 30-1 and would be no surprise.
JACK PANIC (NW6000) brushed to the half to grab the lead at 15-1. Proved second best to the pocket sitting winner but could be a bit tighter in next.
Sunday, November 9
BOLD SPIRIT (CLMLHCP30/40000) went down the road over a tiring snowy track but tired and gave way. Got claimed. Should come out firing for new connections over a more favoring oval.
SPARKS FLY (NW6900) was the sole wire to wire winner over the snow-filled track and might take another.
BRUNO NO NO NO (NW3) went out well, settled for the pocket, pulled nearing the third call, challenged and rolled away posting a wicked :25 4/5 last panel.
CAPTAIN HURLEY (NW3) trailed to the third panel, pulled 4th over, cleared traffic, ducked in late with good finish over the snow-filled oval to be second best to the top one and bears watching.
YYC ON THE HORIZON (CLMHCP18/24000) left well, settled for the three hole to the half, pulled to the third call, brushed to the lead and was a handy winner over a tiring track.
Monday, November 10
GUCCI SEELSTER (CLM20000FM) tucked early, gapped early, rallied as the leader tired, finished between horses and nailed it in the four-horse photo.
SIDE EFFECTS (CLM20000FM) was far back early, rallied to the third call, kept coming the final turn and closed strong to just miss.
SMILES FOR MILES (CLM20000) rolled along at his own clip and was a handy winner over the snowy track.
PATRIARCH HANOVER (NW2500) wired the field and was a handy prohibitive favorite winner and will be the one to beat facing better in next.
GOAL DIGGER (NW1) brushed early and never looked back in romp.
