Woodbine Mohawk Park: Horses to watch from Nov. 11 - Nov. 15
Thursday, November 11
PULL ME THROUGH (NW1FM) went to the top, yielded for the pocket, sat raging, bulled out and caused a chain reaction of interference. Rallied fast once clear but was taken down.
NECTAR (NW3100FM) was dead last along the rail heading home, searched here and there for room in the lane, found a route late and finished fast but was second best to the favorite.
COUNTERCURRENCY (CLM15000FM) well-bet second choice took the top and yielded to the favorite. Tipped early stretch and went wide, rallied gamely but had lost just enough ground to come in second in the photo.
P L IDAHO (CLMHCP12/18000) sat to the rear to the final turn, came wide, finished full of pace but came up a little short.
Friday, November 12
AWESOME HILL (NW2FM) wired the field wrapped-up and can take another.
CHIEFS DREAM GIRL (NW4FM) rushed up to the third panel, went wide as the pocket horse pulled and continued with strong pace to nail it impressively.
WESTERN WISH (PRF/FM) tucked, got shuffled, sat on the rail and gamed out third. Do not ignore in next race or two.
SWIFT ALLY (NW9000FM) sat last, rallied with good pace between horses in the lane and bears watching especially with a drop in class or a better post.
Saturday, November 13
WILDRIVERBUMBLEBEE (NW3600) was an impressive front-stepping winner over a tiring track in last.
HES SWIFT (NW8500) was parked the mile, grinded all the way, tired but held to only miss by a few.
THATLL BE SPORTY (NW4) was at the rear looking ready all the way, tipped the final turn and closed strongly at 25-1 to be second to the odds-on winning favorite.
BEACHIN LINDY (NW5000) roared home from Nowheresville at 45-1 to be second and looms as a horse to follow.
THE SHINING (NW2) was a game uncovered winner besting the front stepping co-favorite in latest.
Monday, November 15
PRINZ OF ALBI HILL (NW1/2YO) was all over the place looking for racing room at a whopping 65-1 and bears watching.
HASHTAP MONEY 9NW1/2YO) was out to the top, yielded for the pocket trip but racing room was at a premium in very crowded stretch.
GREYSTON NATALI (CLMHCP13/18000FM) was in the pocket raging but in very tight quarters. Do not ignore in next.
POWERFUL SPIRIT (NW3) was a handy down the road winner and can take another.
PLUMVILLE PRINCE (NW12500) lukewarm beaten favorite had far to come in latest and should be the one to fear in the lane next time out.
