LEADER TONIGHT (CLMHCP15/18000) was loose on the lead and looking like a winner until hitting the stretch and tiring.
TOMORROWS HEADLINE (NW1) made a quick brush to the lead past the quarter and yielded to the pocket-sitting favorite's last quarter uncovered bid but was second best.
Friday, May 31
BEACH BAR (NW2FM) was parked to the lead but that was it. Set own clip and drew away.
AMERICAN SARA (NW10500FM) took an early tuck, pulled to the half, grinded up uncovered and rallied gamely but came up a bit short to the pacesetting favorite.
WATCH MY LUCK (NW6200FM) tucked to the quarter, pulled to the half, rallied uncovered and won going away at 23-1 and could take another.
BEAUTYONTHEBEACH (NW15000FM) sat to the rear in the final turn, slipped wide, closed strong but too late. Beaten favorite could atone in quick order.
Saturday, June 1
PLAY JET RAY (NW18000) finished full of pace from third over in noteworthy effort and should be considered in next race or two.
LOVELY DONNA (OntSS) left, took back, tucked, tipped into traffic and angled out, finished full of pace once clear will be making some money this year.
BETCHA BABY (OntSS) was a three-move winner in last and held gamely.
YACHT SEELSTER (NW7500) went down the road to the last steps from post 10 and was nailed by the odds-on favorite.
Monday, June 3
HAVEONEFORME (OntSS) wired the field the way an odds-on favorite should while drawing off.
MONGOLIAN HERO N (NW5000) went down the road in handy score and should be hard to catch in next.
MISS JUBILEE HILL (NW3000) made a costly break at the start, settled to the rear, rallied to catch the field, followed the wide flow and closed a ton in serious recovery but just missed.
BRIGHT EYES M (OntSS) scored impressively in wire to wire romp in latest.
Tuesday, June 4
SETANTA (NW3000) went wide and closed a ton to win going away and should get strong consideration in next.
GALAXY SEELSTER (OntSS) was nowhere but finished fast to rally by all but the winner.
ST JAMES GATE (NW10000) beaten favorite had far to come and hit best stride too late.
ARRIVAL (NW3FM) got caught in as action started in the final turn, angled out, rallied too late and might do well with a more alert effort.
