JOHNNY ANGEL (GRASSROOTS) tucked early, pulled passing the half, rushed up uncovered and was a handy winner closing in :25.4.

HALL OF FEAR (NW1) was off slow but finished fast from the back of the pack to be second at 68-1 and bears watching.

SANGRIA SUMMER (NW3FM) second best on the board, she was second over to the prohibitive favorite and second best in the photo.

EASY STATION (NW3FM) was the prohibitive favorite mentioned above and she is now 3-for-3 to start her season.

CONTROL YOUR BET (NW15000FM) moved early to the lead, set a press pace and held well to win her sophomore debut.

MY HOLY MOLEY (NW1700) was buried to the lane, closed well and should be considered in next.

Saturday, May 23

CAVIAR N CRACKERS (NW12000FM) trailed, rallied late, wide and fast in a :26 1/5 last panel at 30-1 and bears watching.

TALK CURDY TO ME (OPEN/FM) saved, tipped, finished in :25 4/5 to just miss the all-out favorite and would be no shocker in next.

TWIN B EMPRESS (NW6500FM) brushed to the half and won in handy score. Can take another so do not overlook.

JABBERWOCKY (NW6000) wired the field easily and will be looking to get his picture taken again.

FIGMENT (W3-6) was a speedy front-stepping winner and should take another.

NO WAITLIST (OntSS) yielded for the pocket and was second best to Beau Jangles (who is now 15 for 15) at 137-1 in most recent.

STAG ROYAL (NW2500FM) saved, angled wide and finished full of pace to be second to the late-closing odds-on favorite.

STROBE LITE (OntSS) tucked to the quarter, pulled to the half, raced second over, tipped 4 wide into the lane, hit stride late and closed good ground to just miss. Beaten favorite can atone in next.

DREAM FOR PEACE (OntSS) was uncovered a long way, challenged to the lane before tiring. A better trip could be enough.

MIKE ME UP (OntSS) out early, went wide when the one above pulled, raced three-deep to the lane, tired and caved. Should be closer in next outing.

TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL (OntSS) was parked to the lead, battled all the way and dug in gamely to ward off the favorite's late 4-wide rally.

BETTOR B GOING (CLMHCP12/16000) won by a wrapped up many lengths again and got claimed again.

WANNABEABIGSTAR (CLMHCP30/40000) won going away from 2nd over. Got claimed and should be in the hunt again.

Monday, May 25

GLORYVIEW IMAGE (CLM8000) was parked to the lead, went down the road to the last step. Beaten favorite got claimed and will be one to watch in his next.

GHOSTLY CAPER (NW30000) was parked to the lead, met last-turn pressure, dug in but was nailed in the last steps. He put in a speed mile and could be a little tighter in next.

STONEBRIDGE WINGS (NW1) was second over the final turn with good finish and was second to the favorite.

PRESS ON BALLYKEEL (NW1) well-bet second choice went to the lead, yielded to the favorite and rolled by the last panel as the leader faltered. Would be no surprise if she takes another.

FOURTH GEAR (GRASSROOTS) sat in, rallied well up the cones to be second at 32-1 to the pacesetting second favorite.
