Thursday, May 2

KING FURY (NW2) trotter went to the lead, yielded for the pocket, had aim in the lane but was second best to the fleet-footed finish of the winner.

MATHEWS RITA (NW1FM) put in a good quick front-end effort, but was nailed on the wire. Beaten favorite can atone if a little tighter in next.

TYMAL SPELLBOUND (NW1FM) came uncovered at 13-1 and proved second best to the pacesetting odds-on favorite.

SMOKESTACK (CLM20000) yielded, retook, set a good clip and a confident winner in last outing.

Friday, May 3

VAL VICTORIAN (NW2FM) yielded, retook and was an impressive winner.

LOUS WORLD (NW1) pulled to the third call, brushed and took over winning easily.

ITS A LOVE THING (SBOA/ELIM) sat to the rear, rushed home and just missed from a distant third over.

CAVIAR N CRACKERS (NW5850) was fifth over and barely a blip on the radar until let loose in the lane. Finished fast to run out of track.

SNOW SHARK (NW9500) beaten favorite followed wide and closed a ton but just missed. Can atone with any kind of better racing luck.

Saturday, May 4

MCWICKED TIME (NW2) was third over in dying flow, was bothered and forced wide, flattened and lost any chance. Beaten favorite bears watching.

SERGEANT SLAUGHTER (NW2) well-bet second choice went down the road at a good clip and had no problem once the favorite was bothered in the final turn.

POSEIDEN SEELSTER (PRF) sat last, rallied late and fast from 5th over posting a :25 2/5 last panel and will be hard to overlook.

LEAVE IT TO LEO (W2-4) left well, yielded and was shuffled, pulled into traffic early stretch, angled out late with good late foot.

CONTROL HEAVEN (NW15500) set a good clip on the front end and held well when roused. Can take another with similar number.

Monday, May 6

KEVIN ANTHONY (COND) was parked the mile, grinded all the way, rallied late from 4th over and could get luckier in next.

DERF HANOVER (NW14000) tucked the early pocket, got shuffled back to multiple lead changes, cleared stretch traffic very late.

CAPTAIN FIREBALL (CLMHCP14/18000) pulled to the half, gained cover, closed well but hit his best stride too late. Got claimed and should give it a try.

MAINTENANCE MAN (CLMHCP19/24000) saved, tipped heading home, hit stride a bit late but was moving well at the wire.

LOGAN PARK (PRF) trotter wired the field easily and should be the one to beat in next.
