Woodbine Mohawk Park: Horses to watch from March 4 - March 8

Thursday, March 4
NOCH TEN (NW2) tucked early, pulled to the half, brushed, set a pressed pace and dug in but was nailed at the wire.
SUNNY BO (CLM15000) was used hard to the lead, held to be second at 10-1 and earns another look.
MEADOWBRANCH MEMO (CLMHCP10/12000) was parked the mile, went wide around poor cover, took a short lead into the lane but tired. A better trip might be enough.
BETTER TAKE IT BACK (NW2) took the lead, yielded, retook and drew off impressively. Should take another.
Friday, March 5
UF BETTORS HANOVER (CLMHCP15/20000) was on the rail in the final turn at 80-1, cut a few pylons to earn a DQ, then got into impossible traffic to the last steps. Should get it done in next race or two.
DEVILS PEAK (CLMHCP15/20000) was locked in through the lane and never got a chance to rally at 67-1 and should not be ignored.
NOTAWORD (NW2) went down the road to the last step and got nailed by the late-closing favorite.
BORN A DRAGON (NW12000FM) tucked twice, angled wide in the lane to clear traffic and nailed the win. Can take another.
Saturday, March 6
BUTTER BAY HANOVER (NW5000) was fourth over which was far to come and was forced wide by a steadily drifting foe. Beaten favorite should get a better trip in next.
BEYOND BETTER (NW5) rallied wide and late with huge finish to win going away.
KLOOF STREET (NW27500FM) was quick to the top, yielded and was badly shuffled, had traffic to clear in the lane and hit a good stride too late.
NOCTURNAL BLUECHIP (NW25000) had far to come but just missed with :26 3/5 last panel.
Monday, March 8
HP PATRIOTE (CLM8000) finished full of pace from the back of the pack to win going away and can take another.
ONEY HALL (NW28000) put in a solid down the road effort in latest but was second best to the late-closing favorite.
MONTY MONO (CLMHCP10/12000) sat in, wiggled out, angled wide and closed a ton to win going away. Would be no surprise if he takes another.
SHESWILDNFREE (WINE/ROSES) was bet off the board and won easily.
