Thursday, March 2 BURLESQUE SEELSTER (CLM7000FM) was parked the mile, gained poor cover, rallied gamely through the lane, had dead aim but tired. LAVA FIELD (NW1) trotter left, tucked, came uncovered, challenged and held gamely to earn second to the tripped-out favorite. ASKMYSECRETARY (CLMHCP12/15000) sat to the rear, stepped it up when asked passing the third call, wheeled very wide to clear last-turn traffic and closed best of all to nail a piece. Got claimed and should return a quick dividend. SIR BALLYKEEL (NW2) sat to the rear, rallied wide, found an open path mid lane and finished fast at 57-1 to be second best the even-money favorite. Saturday, March 4 THE LONGEST YARD (NW27500) saved to the final turn, slipped out, tipped wide and closed strong at 20-1 to get up for 2nd in latest. BAYFIELD BEACH (NW16000) went down the road, drifted in the lane but no one got close. Should give it another try. TANGO SEELSTER (NW2) left to the top, yielded for the pocket, angled out, closed too late. Beaten favorite would be no surprise. PARTYINTHESHADOWS (W2-4) sat to the rear 5th over, finished well and bears watching. Monday, March 6 FROWNIES MIRACLE (CLMHCP25/35000) finished full of pace and nailed second in solid effort. TOCCOA FALLS (HOLLAND) went to the top, yielded, sat pocket, had aim but was nailed on the wire. Do not ignore. PIKACHU HANOVER (NW15700) wired the field in impressive score and can take another. JIM STRIKESITRICH (CLMHCP12/16000) got parked to the lead but that was it. Should be tough again. UNIQUE BEACH (CLMHCP12/16000) rushed to the top, yielded to the one above and was second best. Got claimed and should be tough again.
