Woodbine Mohawk Park: Horses to watch from June 25 - June 30

Thursday, June 25
CANTABERNET (NW3000) left wide and patiently, found a tuck, sat buried to the lane, angled out, rallied late and passed a few.
PEMBERTON (NW2) rushed up, gained cover and closed stoutly. Should continue his winning ways.
QUAN BLUE CHIP (CLMHCP15/20000) wired the field with handy effort. Got claimed and will come out looking for another win.
MIKEY MASS (NW1) tucked at the quarter, pulled to the third panel with cover and won going away.
SUPERLATIVE (NW6000) roared home from nowhere with a big wide rush to get up over all but the winner.
Friday, June 26
PREMIER CABERNEET (NW10000FM) yielded 2x, sat pocket, rallied gamely to the last steps and got nailed but deserves a long look in next.
NEED UR OPINION (OntSS) was buried on the rail, angled out, rallied all out and just missed.
VILLEFRANCHE AS (NW3) wired the field in handy score and can take another.
DREAMFAIR MOXY (NW5) saved ground, found room and closed fast but had too far to come.
BETCHULOVEME (2YOF) sat to the rear, roared home in solid effort.
Saturday, June 27
TRUFFLE DOG (OntSS) raced second over the last panel with game finish and did not miss by much.
BETTER TAKE IT (OntSS) tucked at the quarter, pulled to the half, raced uncovered, proved a second best on the board and on the track as the tough winner rallied strongest.
YS MATHIS (OntSS) grinded to the top and drew off handily.
BETTOR AT HIGHTIDE (OntSS) left to quick quarter, set a pressed middle half, shook off the challenge, dug in all out and game but was unable to hold off the late rush of the odds-on favorite.
Monday, June 29
LAURAS LOVE (OntSS) well bet second choice tucked, got shuffled, tipped into the lane with game rally but the odds-on winner gamed it out.
SO DELIGHTFUL (OntSS) left well, yielded, got shuffled, wiggled through stretch traffic and just missed.
P L JILL (FRF) put in a dead-game effort on the front end from post 8 and got nailed late. Looks to be coming around and gets a long look in next.
BIT OF LUCK (NW5300) sat to the rear, raced a distant 4th over but finished stoutly for quickest last quarter in the field.
Tuesday, June 30
WALKONTHEMOON (2YO) made a bold uncovered rush to reach the leader, challenged, had aim but tired over the speed favoring oval. Beaten favorite can get it done in quick order.
BETTIM VICKY (NW3000FM) yielded twice, sat pocket and proved second best at over 20-1 to the odds-on favorite.
O NARUTAC PERFETTO (NW11000) came hard uncovered as the well-bet second choice, challenged the pacesetting favorite and was held at bay. Same move might be more successful over a more favorable track.
SPIRIT OF DEO (NW2) was used hard to the lead and was best in impressive effort.
BUCKEYE STARLET (NW7) closed well from 2nd over and will score soon.
