Friday, June 19
WICKEDPACE (POPUP) went down the road at 11-1 to the last steps in fastest of the divisions in Leg 1 action only to be nailed by the late rush of the odds-on favorite and bears watching.
SENSATIONALIZE A (POPUP) odds-on favorite tucked to the quarter, pulled second over past the half, finished strong to nail to win in the division mentioned above.
BELLA CHICA (GRASSROOTS) was parked to the lead, retook, stepped it up, got away and was wrapped up through the lane in strong win in her division of Leg 2 action.
CACKLE BERRY (GRASSROOTS) tucked, got shuffled, had traffic problems in the lane and just missed. Should not be taken lightly.
NAUGHTY DELIGHT (GRASSROOTS) finished full of pace between horses last time out and would be no surprise.
CONTROL YOUR BET (GRASSROOTS) trailed to the lane, closed strong to by a slew of foes in same division.
EASY STATION (NW3FM) odds-on favorite sat pocket to the final turn, tipped and was a handy winner.
Saturday, June 20
BRUE HANOVER (OPEN) sat pocket, tipped wide into the lane and closed well to finish off the exacta with his stablemate. Might have been better off staying on the rail as the tiring leader drifted wide. Next time could be his time.
BORDERLINE MOBBY (W3-6) three-move winner was third winner on the card for the trainer and can take another.
WHY WOULDNT YA (POPUP) closed well from third over and earns a look or two.
CAPTAIN HURLEY (POPUP) second favorite weaved through stretch traffic to nail a game win in quickest of the 4 divisions.
BLUE JEAN GAL (OntSS) was parked to the final turn, tucked the pocket and was second best in 2nd leg action and a better trip should put her in the winner's circle.
MADRID A (NW6500/CLM30000) was parked the mile, challenged and tired.
TWIN B EMPRESS (NW6500FM/CLM30000) was parked second over to the top one and was all out to keep third place. Got claimed and will be giving it her all.
Sunday, June 21
ROXIE HART (NW2500) finished about 7-wide and fast to just miss.
MISTER MAGIC (NW2500) was parked the mile, challenged to the lane and tired. Got claimed and a better trip might be all it takes.
SCAMMER (NW2500) rallied wide and closed well to get up for 2d in solid effort.
MCWICKED TIME (CLMHCP18/24000) closed well rallying around poor cover to be second to the pocket sitting favorite. Got claimed and should give a good account of himself in next.
RIPASSO (NW6000) challenged and rolled by for a strong win and would be no surprise taking another.
MAJOR VELOCITY (NW12000) trotter put up a :26 4/5 last panel rallied strong from a distance to be second best in solid effort.
Monday, June 22
ELLINGTON (NW1) finished full of pace from third over and was up for second in the photo.
LOU WHO (NW1) was in between horses in same race looking for room and cleared much too late.
DAX SEELSTER (GRASSROOTS) was parked to the lead, went down the road and was kept busy in the lane while winning by open lengths. Should be one of the contenders next time around.
ODDS ON BULLFROG (GRASSROOTS) was parked to the lead, went down road in quick mile pulling away when asked to mark himself as the one to beat next time out.
SUNSET LOU (NW1) put a dent in the timer putting the field away in fast mile and should score more.
