Thursday, July 29
GALLERIA SEELSTER (OntS) tucked, sat to the lane, got stuck in traffic, cleeared late with willing pace but had no shot.
POWER OF AN ANGEL (NW1/2YOF) tucked early, gained cover, rallied gamely but was outfinished by the odds-on favorite's game rally and bears watching.
MERCUTIO (NW1/2YO) tipped wide in the final turn with strong rally but was second to the tripped-out pocket-sitting favorite.
MODERN WRITER (CLM17500) left well, yielded and was shuffled, brushed to the top, set a pressed pace and weakenked in the lane.
DULY RESOLVED (OntSS) putted an early challenger in the pocket and went down the road in handy fashion to win easily.
Friday, July 30
FREE WILLY HANOVER (NW3300) went down the road for strong win and can take another with similar effort.
LADY AKILA (NW1FM) took the top, yielded and was shuffled as the speed tired, rallied willingly but late slipping through stretch traffic.
CONTACT ZONE (NW1/2YO) went to the top and set the pace under pressure, shook off the challenger and dug in but got nailed in the last steps. Beaten favorite can atone with better trip.
ATS HANOVER and SPORTS FAN (OntS) were both denied the chance to fire their best rallies trying to escape tight stretch traffic in last outing.
Saturday, July 31
BAUTISTA (NW5000) went to the top, yielded, retook and that was that in last romp.
RUBYS ARE NICE (OntS) rallied strong between horses at over 40-1 and just missed the pacesetting favorite.
HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER (NW23600) was stung going to the quarter, went down the road at 20-1 and got nailed by the pocketsitting "stinger".
ROCKIN IN HEAVEN (NW11000) sat next to last, rallied wide and fast and finished second to the favorite.
FOREFATHER (NW2) was victimized by a horror trip and tired.
Monday, August 2
SHADOW IN RED (NW2) got away well, brushed when the speed settled and was a handy winner making it three victories in a row.
MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE (NW5) closed strongly but had far to come. Bears watching in next race or two.
ONEY HALL (NW18000) was parked to the lead but looked good in wire to wire score.
SILVER LABEL (OntS) made it three in a row with strong closing tally.
Tuesday, August 3
COOL ROCK (CLMHCP8500/12000) tipped in the final turn, rallied gamely to get up for second, got claimed and should come out with good effort.
JULERICA (CLMDHDP22/30000) wired the field in solid down the road score and got claimed. Should come out ready to roar in next.
SOMIKI (NW1/2YO) had a very troubled trip, tired and broke. Do not ignore.
