CENTURY GIGALO (CLMHCP15/20000) was game to the last step while tiring and was nipped by late-closing stablemate. Got claimed and should give it another go in next.

ALLGONOWHOA (CLMHCP15/200O0) tucked and sat in, had some traffic problems in the lane, rallied gamely and ducked in late to just miss.

NO SOUP TONIGHT (2YOF) yielded, retook, set a good clip but was unable to hold off the strong-closing second-over favorite's game and strong rally. Maybe next time.

MAGNIFICENT SEVEN (POPUP) brushed and crushed and will be hard to beat in next.

JULERICA (CLMHCP22/30000) put in a fast mile and won with authority. Always in the hunt.

SOMEWHEREINVERONA (COND) was parked 3rd over, followed wide, stacked 4 wide and never gave up in game effort at 32-1.

SHES NUN BETTOR N (PRF/HCP-FM) was in the pocket ready but could not get out.

B STONEY (NW11000) saved to the lane, tipped, hit a good stride in late stretch and got up for second place heater.

NIGHTLIFE SEELSTER (NW2900FM) was locked in the pocket and cleared too late.

WARRAWEE VITAL (OPEN/HCP) tucked, brushed, got away and held all out to tie his lifetime mark and also the aged track record.

Monday, August 1

ARRAKIS (NW10000) sat to the lane, slipped off the rail, angled out, hit stride late and bears watching in next.

RAPTORS WON (OntSS) closed well to be second best to impressive front-stepping winner.

LOCATELLI (W3-6) with rain falling hard, this one finished full of trot from an impossible spot and bears watching.

HALO ITS HEAVEN (3YOF) showed early speed and late speed at 14-1 and bears watching.

TAKE ON ME (OntSS) came uncovered and won going away with strong rally.

BALA (2YOF) beaten favorite got away well, got shuffled, rallied uncovered, drifted in the lane but fought back. She can get it done if she is a lighter shade of green in next race or two.
