Thursday, January 19

DEVILS ARCH (NW1) broke at the start and was far back, then disappeared into the fog but was spotted rallying a long way to reach contention before tiring. Beaten favorite can atone quickly.

SUNSHINEINMYPOCKET (CLMHCP) tucked around slow leavers, disappeared into the fog but finished well on the rail once visible again.

Friday, January 20

LOCK BRIDGE (W4-6FM) followed favored stablemate's cover, chased her home and was second best in the photo.

MIST AMBER (NW1FM) saved to the final turn, slipped out, found a route and just missed the front-stepping favorite.

SHESASHARPSHOOTER (NW2FM) brushed in the final turn to win going away.

NORA D (NW2FM) was parked the mile, gained cover along the way but tired. Maybe just a warm up for next.

SUNSHINEATTHEBEACH and WILDCAT DELIGHT (NW3000FM) engaged in a long drawn-out battle and suffered the inevitable fate when both were done by the lane.

Saturday, January 21

PARISIAN BLUE CHIP (NW6000FM) rushed home from nowhere posting a :26 4/5 last panel to end up 3rd in latest.

THE BOSS SAID (W2-5) sat last to the final turn at 75-1, finished with a flurry passing all but the two favorites.

HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER (NW13100) exploded home at 70-1 and would be no surprise if he takes another.

THE WILL TO PLAY (NW2) was 4th over with strong finish and bears watching.

FULL DISCLOSURE (NW2) drew off as much the best in impressive wire-to-wire romp.

Monday, January 23

FRANKS ANGEL (NW12000) trotter was in the pocket behind dying speed and cleared late. Beaten favorite could get luckier in next.

MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE (NW12000) troter finished full of life from third over and bears watching.

PIKACHU HANOVER (NW30000) trotter crushed foes in wire-to-wire score and will be hard to beat in next.

STATE OF PLAY (CLMHCP) was parked the mile, grinded up, raced third over by the half, came wide into the lane, hit stride late and just missed,
Do not ignore in next race or two.

A BOY NAMED SUUZZ (CLMHCP22/30000) veteran rallied wide but just missed in latest.
