Woodbine Mohawk Park: Horses to watch from February 7 - February 11
Thursday, February 7
TRAVEL WINNER (NW1) beaten favorite finished strong but had too far to come.
SUNNY DEE (NW2FM) won going away and will win again.
LONE WOLF TERROR (CLMHCP12/15000) roared home in quick finish and will be hard to beat in next.
ARUKIDINME CABBIE (NW2) put in a commendable second-best effort to redhot streaking winner and should get it done.
Friday, February 8
SHIVERED (CLMHCP10/12000) delivered a winning down the road score in last, got claimed and should come out ready to give it another shot.
CHICKIE LOVE (CLMHCP8/10000) second favorite wired all but the pocket-sitting favorite in latest effort leaving the rest over 4 lengths behind. Same effort wins most of the time.
SANDBETWEENURTOES (NW10000FM) favorite won going away in most recent and earns a long look in next.
SOS BAMBIE (NW3000FM) tried to wire the field in the snow under pressure and dug in to the last steps. Beaten favorite should be luckier in next.
Saturday, February 9
MAROMA BEACH (NW10500) went down the road and seemed to have more in the tank.
ALWAYS A HOTSHOT (NW20000) tucked at the quarter, pulled to the half, grinded up uncovered and dug in at 9-1 but tired in the late stages.
P L HURRICANE (NW15000FM) yielded twice, looked ready at any time and won going away once asked.
TYMAL PEACEMAKER (NW4000) sat to the rear, angled wide through the lane and finished with good pace in the late stages.
Monday, February 11
SURF REPORT (CLMHCP8/10000) took a quick lead, yielded, got shuffled, sat in looking ready to race, rallied well inside through the lane.
BLUE EYED COWBOY (CLMHCP8/10000) saved ground under a hold most of the way, searched for a path in the lane, found it late with willing finish.
SHOE SHINE (CLMHCP12/15000) well-bet second choice went down the road and proved second best to the fast-closing impressive winning favorite. Got claimed and could pay immediate dividends.
HEY LIVVY (NW5) tucked to the quarter, closed strongly between horses and just missed.
BEACHIN LINDY (NW3) tucked early, brushed to the half, took the top at 10-1 and got nailed on the wire. Could be tighter in next and get it done.
