MISTER MAGIC (NW2500) veteran trotter was parked to the lead, went down the road and was second best to his late-closing stablemate over a track where only one winner scored on the front end. Should be able to get it done in next race or two.

VICTOR INVICTUS (NW2500) veteran came uncovered, challenged the top one and closed stoutly to win going away and can take another.

STEAL MY SUNSHINE (NW1FM) even-money favorite rolled along on the front end but was nailed on the wire by the well-bet second choice in what amounted to a 2-horse race and should atone in next.

BLINDED BY LIGHT (NW6000FM) lukewarm favorite rushed up uncovered, blew by won going away in a speedy mile over the snowy track and should take another.

SUGAR PIE HONEY (NW3FM) well-bet second choice took the lead, yielded, pulled head stretch, challenged and had aim but was nailed by the late-closing favorite.

Saturday, February 7

MOVING ON OVER (NW2) tucked, brushed, proved second best to his pocket sitting stablemate and will get his chance to shine.

DUBLIN DASHER (OPEN) flashed late speed and has been in the hunt on a regular basis.

MONTANA SLIM (NW2500) made a bold uncovered move, had aim at nearly 13-1 but was nailed by the second-over closer.

GET WINGS (NW12000) yielded, retook, set a pressed pace and was outkicked by the wide and fast rally of the favorite.

EARLY ACTION (NW9250) yielded for the pocket, had some traffic, cleared late in the lane and was second best in good effort.

Sunday, February 8

ROSE RUN X CON (CLMHCP18/24000) sat to the rear, rallied the final turn and closed a ton at 42-1 from 4th over to just miss the even-money favorite.

MY ONLY SUNSHINE (CLM8000) was a prohibitive favorite, wired the field in strong win and can take another.

PERFETTO (NW9000) left well, got shuffled to the three-hole, came uncovered, challenged a long way, had aim but was nailed in the last step. Beaten favorite can atone in next.

WHITE TIGER (NW9000) was second choice on the board to the above foe, closed well from third over but just missed in 3-horse photo.

MR IBIZA N (CLMHCP18/24000) finished full of pace from the back of the pack and would be no surprise.

Monday, February 9

POPPA JOE (POPUP) sat to the rear, slipped out late in the final turn, angled wide and closed strong to just miss the all out winning favorite.

VALIDUS (NW2) tucked early, pulled to the third call second over, closed well but was second in the photo to the odds-on favorite.

ARAGONITE (CLM8000) was parked to the lead, met early pressure, got away when that one faltered and was a handy winner.

HAPPY ANGEL (NW1) wired the field easily and can take another.

ALWAYS B SWEETEST (CLMHCP8/11000) tuck, came uncovered and won easily. Should take another.
