Woodbine Mohawk Park: Horses to watch from Feb. 16 - Feb. 20

Thursday, February 16
MALVOLIO (CLMHCP8/10000) rallied late with a fast finish between horses to get up for second and should not be overlooked.
DUSTON HANOVER (NW2) angled out wide, finished late but was moving fast in the last strides and would be no surprise.
SOUTHWIND CHARDNAY (NW1) brushed to the lead to the half, yielded to the big move of the winner and chased him home second best.
R BAZINGGA (CLM7000) was used to the lead, met pressure throughout and held on for second to tripped-out pocket horse.
LETSGO T (CLM7000FM) blew up the board at 55-1 in last with huge finish and can take another but won't be 50-1.
Friday, February 17
OHMIKIYOURSOFINE (NW1FM) left, settled for the three-hole, got shuffled badly when the pocket horse quit, got around, angled out late and should not be ignored in next.
BAD ROSSA (W2-4FM) sat pocket and cleared late, rallied and just missed.
AHOY (NW20000FM) sat pocket and cleared late, rallied late and should get luckier in next race or two.
LOCK BRIDGE (NW20000FM) stablemate of the above had traffic problems two back and had far to come in last.
EXOTIC DRAGON (NW4000FM) finished best from a distant 3rd over and was second best in the photo to the favorite.
Saturday, February 18
JACK PANIC (W2-4) angled out, finished fast but had found his mojo a step too late.
SOUTHWIND PATRON (NW1) suffered a 2x heavy traffic in the stretch and never had a chance to fire his best shot.
HESINCONTROL (NW26000) was third over into the lane, finished strong and passed all but the winner.
GOING FAST (NW8000) was doing just that from 4th over to get up for third in latest.
BEYOND BETTER (NW4200) was used hard to the lead, set a good clip and was nailed. Beaten favorite can atone in next.
Monday, February 20
SHADRACK HANOVER (NW16000) pulled at the half, brushed powerfully and drew off to win by a bunch.
WOODMERE FENN (NW1500) brushed wide into the lane and blew by mundane field. Can take another against better.
BIG ACE (COND) was parked, grinded up, gained cover, rallied when cover collapsed but flattened out.
MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE (NW25000) made a bold move to the third panel, challenged, loomed but tired. A better-timed move should do it.
