STEAMER (NW2) wired the field easily and will be hard to beat in next.

Saturday, December 28

BETTERDEALMEIN (NW15000/2-3YO) 2YO finished strong from 4th over and has a win waiting in the wings.

WHEELS ON FIRE (NW8000) finished full of pace from 3rd over and should nail a win in next race or two.

SPIRTSIDE EDDY (COND) brushed early and was a handy front-stepping winner.

T H BOOMTON (NW2) closed strong from second over and can take another.

HUNTRESS (NW14000) finished well from third over and just missed the 3-move winner.

Monday, December 30

DELCREST BRENT (POPUP) jogged in his first-leg action.

LOCATELLI (NW9600) was parked the mile, grinded up, had poor cover, rallied wide the final turn and passed a few foes before flattening a bit.

NO ANGEL LIKE ME (POPUP) was moving early and bothered by a breaker, settled, rallied steadily had to go wide to clear a quitting foe and rallied gamely to be second best.

TORONTO (CLMHCP30/40000) finished full of pace from far back and won going away at over 40-1.

FROWNIES MIRACLE (CLMHCP12/16000) was parked, had to go wide to clear a parked horse, challenged, took the lead and was much the best.
