Thursday, August 9
FORBIDDEN TRADE (OntSS) rallied wide avoiding all breakers and roared home an easy winner. Was going to win for fun despite the breakers.
TORRIN HANOVER (NW2) was third over and finished strong to get up for second as the winner paced away.
WINDSONG OLYMPIA (NW1FM) left to the top, yielded, sat pocket and was trapped to the late stages.
UNPRECEDENTED (NW15000) came wide and late with big finish and earns some respect.
Friday, August 10
JUST HER LUCK (NW5FM) trailed to the third panel, raced 4th over and finished best of all but had far to come.
WANDA BAYAMA (NW7000FM) left to the top, yielded and was shuffled, closed gamely once clear in the lane.
AZURE SEELSTER (NW3FM) sat to the rear, finished in a quick :26 3/5 to miss by only a half length.
REQUEST FOR PAROLE (NW11000FM) tucked early, came uncovered, challenged, had aim but was outfinished by the late-rushing second-over favorite.
Saturday, August 11
AMERICAN CHEER (NW3500FM) tucked early, came uncovered and won going away in strong win.
DON MCWHITE (NW5000) beaten favorite was off slowly, trailed, followed a poor flow and finished strongly but the winner had gotten away.
CONTINUAL HANOVER (PRF) followed wide flow into the lane with big finish clocking a :26 1/5 last panel.
BAROCKEY (NW16500FM) trailed to the lane, closed a ton gobbling up ground and foes in quick last quarter.
Monday, August 13
ROCKIN RONNIE (CLMHCP8/10000) trailed to the lane, followed wide, closed stoutly and has to be respected with better trip.
VINCENT VAN GO (CLMHCP8/10000) left fast, set a quick clip on an open lead, grew leg wearly and got nailed. Beaten favorite can get it right in next.
SHOE SHINE (NW3000) finished full of pace from the back of the pack in latest to earn a third place finish and earns a long look in next race or two.
JENKINS CREEK (CLMHCP12/15000) yielded, retook, wired the field impressively and would be no surprise with another strong effort.
Tuesday, August 14
ODDS ON ST LUCIE (2YOF) rushed up, challenged and rolled away to indicate she will keep winning.
CAPTAIN KOINE (2YO) rushed to the top, set a steady clip over a tiring track, met pressure the last quarter, shook off the challenger but was nailed by the pocketsitter. Beaten favorite can score in quick order.
LINDY THE GREAT (NW16000) came wide in the final turn, closed strong to win going away and will be hard to beat in next.
DANCER HALL (PRF) set a good clip and won impressively on the front end.
