Thursday, August 27

FLAWLESS LADY (NW1/2YOF) wired the field in jogburger by over 11 lengths to earn maiden score and win another or two should be on the horizon.

TWIN B SHOWBIZ (OntSS) beaten favorite gained cover by the lane, closed well but was third in the photo. Should be able to atone in next.

STAMPEDE (NW1/2YO) was bothered, parked and was able to tuck, got shuffled, had pace in tight quarters and should not be overlooked.

MAHALO (NW1/2YO) was shuffled early, brushed the final quarter and blew away the field.

A SPLASH OF GREEN (OntSS) tucked early, pulled to the third panel and closed strong to win going away and can take another.

MUKTUCK ANNIE (CLM8000FM) retook and was a handy winner setting a new lifetime mark at the wire.

Friday, August 28

WALTERS NIP (3YO) was the victim of a very tough trip but closed well getting for second and could get luckier in next.

ADINA HANOVER (NW2FM) was a third-move winner in last blowing the field away in last.

ARTISTIC DELIGHT (NW2FM) left from post 10, had poor cover and showed some good late pace to be second best to the above mentioned winner.

GLENBORO (NW6000FM) closed strong at 14-1 to just miss the winning favorite and bears watching.

FRENCH WINE (MAPLE LEAF) won his division with a strong surge from second over and will be the major threat next time out.

JEN TILLY (OntSS) beaten favorite yielded twice, came up a half length short making her third move and would be no surprise.

Saturday, August 29

WAVES OF FORTUNE (CAMNATION) won her division with big late rally from third over and will be in it to the end in next.

RODEO DRIVE DEO (OPEN/FM) was second over, closed well and was half short of the pocket sitting winning favorite.

BEST CHIP (CAN/DERBY) set the pace, got nailed in his division and could be tighter next week.

FOR ONCE INMY LIFE (CAN/DERBY) sat pocket to the top one and won going away in quickest of the two divisions.

HARRISBURG HEIST (CAN/DERBY) tucked, got shuffled, got in very tight in the lane and had no chance to fire his best shot.

ACCESS NOW (WELLWOOD) got shuffled back, rallied late, kept coming and ran out of track in the final.

Sunday, August 30

CAPTAIN hurley (POPOP) was used to the lead, yielded, got shuffled, brushed to the lead, opened up but tired. Well-bet second choice deserves another look.

FASHION FRENZIE (NW9000) rushed to the lead, yielded, retook, met pressure, put the challenger away by the top of the lane but tired. Beaten favorite could atone with better trip.

GRIFF (NW9000) was out a long way, challenged the top one to the final turn, tucked as the pocket horse folded, gutted out third and deserves another look.

ARTIES IDEAL (POPUP) tucked, sat to the lane, slipped out, angled wide to avoid traffic, hit stride late, closed strong and would be no surprise in next.

BOOTHILL HUDY (POPUP) sat buried to the lane, tipped, finished strongest and should be a late threat in next.

Monday, August 31

DAHLQUIST HANOVER (POPUP) was parked the mile in the final, pressed the pace to the lane before backing off. Beaten favorite will atone with better trip.

FIREINSIDEMYVEINS (POPUP) sat to the rear with nary a thought, finished late and wide blowing by all but the winner.

GLORYVIEW IMAGE (CLML8000) yielded, retook and was one of only two front stepping winners on the card. Got claimed and should be hard to beat in next.

DRAGONS BETTER (CLM8000) was uncovered, second best on the board and second best on the track chasing the top one. Also got claimed and should make some money for new connections.

DULCES SUENOS DEO (NW1) had a little traffic at the start avoiding a breaker, settled in to the final turn, slipped out, tipped wide at 26-1 and closed strong to be second best to the odds-on winner.

LO AND BEHOLD (NW2) filly wired the field in quick time and should be hard to beat in next.

LETS GO FISHIN (NW1/2YOF) set a pressed pace, dug in to the last steps getting nailed by the late-closing odds-on favorite.
