CHIEFS DREAM GIRL (NW7600FM) lost great cover as the lead changed, challenged, dug in gamely but was second best to the late-closing odds-on favorite.
I LOVE ONGAIT (3YOF) tucked early, raced uncovered at over 40-1 and gutted out 2nd place to the pacesetting winner.

DREAMFAIR ARNIE B (NW3) tucked, brush and held well under some late urging and will be trying again.
POWERTRAIN (W3-6) looked airborne finishing fast on the outside from the back of the pack and just missed over a track that was kind enough to front steppers.

Monday, August 22
MRMAYOR HANOVER (NW3) went down the road in a jog and can take another.
KEVIN ANTHONY (NW3) rallied from far back and deserves a mention.
YARM (POPUP) sat last, showed some good late speed in latest.
RENEGADE GYPSY (OntSS) sat pocket, tipped and drifted, rallied gamely but might have fared better if he had rallied along the rail.
Tuesday, August 23
WHAT AN ANGEL (2YO) went down the road with broken hopples dangling and got nailed in the late stages. Beaten favorite might atone with better equipment.
REGGAE HANOVER (2YOF) rallied the final turn with strong finish and may take another in next adventure.
FEAR THE CRUSH (2YOF) tucked early, rallied uncovered to the third panel, challenged and won going away.
RITSON (NW3000) trotter brushed to the half, grabbed the lead and was an impressive front-end winner.
