BERENS WEAPON (CLM20000) beaten favorite was parked the mile, grinded up, gained cover, rallied late and was second best to the uncovered second choice. Should not be ignored in next outing.

WICKED STORE (NW1/2YO) flashed some good speed rallying up uncovered, challenged the pacesetting favorite and proved his gameness gaining the win on the wire. Youngster could have a future.

COVER BAND (MILLARD) lukewarm second favorite closed well from third over to just miss in the photo to the odds-on winner.

Friday, August 2

MARGOSOTTHECARGO (OntSS) finished from far back to get for second passing numerous foes.

VALUABLE MISS (NW2) let the speed settle, brushed to the lead and was a handy winner.

D A LETS BOOGIE (NW1/2YO) put in a solid front-stepping effort but was nailed by the late-closing prohibitive favorite.

CAVIAR N CRACKERS (NW14000FM) closed well from second over behind poor cover and bears watching.

Saturday, August 3

WOODMERE FENN (NW4500) finished fast and furious up the rail and just missed at 36-1.

LARRY KARR (NW8000) set a fast pace on a night when speed was giving way, dug in to the last step at 17-1 and deserves a long look in next.

CHIEFS DREAM GIRL (NW9100FM) closed well from third over and ran out of track.

LIVINTHEBEACHLIFE (NW17599) challenged uncovered a long way, dug in gamely but was tiring at the end.

SOUTHWIND SAMBUCA (NW2640) bottomed the field to be a front-stepping victor on a night when speed was going down.

Monday, August 5

GO BLUE (OntSS) finished with good trot from a distant 4th over to be second best at the end.

SOUTHWIND COORS (NW8000) was parked a long way to the lead, put away a challenger and was much the best.

JMR SPEAK AWAY (3YO) beaten favorite was third over, rallied all out but was gaining too late to get to the well-bet second choice.

SAFE CONDUCT (NW14000) took a quick lead, got shuffled to the moon, tipped the final turn and rallied strong from far back in solid but bad luck effort.

Tuesday, August 6

ALWAYS DAWN (NW1/2YOF) was parked to the lead, yielded, pulled pocket and challenged the well-bet second favorite to the last steps in solid effort.

TELLERS CHOICE (OntSS) tucked, sat pocket, cleared too late to make her move.

BOXER SEELSTER (NW1/2YO) rallied uncovered and gobbled up foes to win going away by a bunch of lengths.

IBELIEVEINANGELS (OntSS) was stuck behind caving cover, rallied wide and closed strong to earn the top prize.

SUNSHINE LOVE (CLMHCP8/9000) was bet like a winner, sat pocket and proved the money to be spot on. Got claimed and will be hard to argue with in next.
