WONDROUS CLUE CHIP (NW2/2YO) went down the road putting away a last-turn challenge from the favorite and can take another.

Friday, August 30

BELMONT BLAZER (GRASSROOTS) tucked to the quarter, tipped into the lane, angled late, closed strong and just missed.

KELLINA DIAMOND (NW5200FM) yielded twice, sat pocket and cleared late. Should be a major player in next.

SININGINTHERAIN (NW2FM) beaten favorite set a good clip in last but was nailed on the wire by the pocket sitting second choice.

ONE MORE BET (NW3FM) rushed to the top, yielded, sat pocket and cleared in last steps. Can atone in next so do not overlook.

Saturday, August 31

CHANTILLY (OntSS) tucked, brushed, crushed drawing away impressively and should win again and probably again.

ORDER ONE TO GO (NW8000) finished well from second over and bears watching.

JACK PANIC (NW14000) took the top, yielded for the pocket, rallied gamely but was second in the photo.

OH WELL (MAPLELEAF) finished full of trot from far back to be second best to favored stablemate.

Monday, September 2

CAPITANO ITALIANO (COND) finished strong at over 10-1 to be third in last and should be tough in next.

DUPREE HANOVER (NW4000) well-bet second choice was in the pocket second best to favored stablemate at every call and will be trying for own gold medal in next.

ANGEL OF MY DREAM (POPUP) finished full of trot from third over in last to be second best at over 30-1.

JACK N ABS (3YO) was a game 2nd best in last to the pacesetting winner and deserves a look in next.

GETTHEGREEN (GRASSROOTS) was third over the final quarter with good late trot to be second at the end.

ROSE COLOREDGLASSES (NW1FM) wired the field in good down the road effort and can take another.

MADE OF MAGIC (NW30 hit stride a step too late from third over and bears watching.

DUCHESS DEO (NW1/2YOF) was a speedy front-stepping winner and should take another...or two.
