ALCINA (NW2) wired the field in all-out score over a tiring track and would be no surprise to repeat.
CHAMPAGNE BETTINA (NW1) wheeled wide into the lane in strong finish and should not be ignored.
NIMAH FRANCO N (CLMHCP12/15000FM) yielded twice and rallied gamely at 11-1 to be second.
Friday, April 7
SEVEN IRON (NW2500) trotter sat pocket at 20-1 to the co-favorite pacesetter and was second best. Should be able to score at this level.
LIKE CHAOS (SPRING) brushed to the half, opened up and held well with a few late reminders.
DANCE MACHINE (CLMHCP15/18000) rallied wide the final turn, loomed headstretch but was outkicked by the pocket-sitting winner.
SWEET SANDY (CLM35000FM) finished well from third over but it was a bit too far to come.
DEVILS ARCH (SPRING) was strong wire to wire winner in last and will be hard to beat.
Saturday, April 8
EMMETTS BUDDY (NW15000) finished full of pace from way back and just missed.
CADILLAC BAYAMA (NW15000) had no interest but rallied late putting up a quick last panel.
COMMANDING OFFICER (PRF2) wheeled home quickly from a rough spot and bears watching.
TRAFALGAR (NW15000FM) just missed the 10-1 upset in last and would be no surprise.
Monday, April 10
SPORTS FAN (NW1800) went to the top, yielded and was shuffled, came uncovered the final turn, rallied gamely but was second in the photo.
TREASURED TEE (COND) sat to the rear, rallied wide and late to just miss. Beaten favorite can atone in next.
SKYLAR (CLMHCP12/16000) came wide around stretch trouble and finished well to nail second at over 40-1.
QUAN BLUE CHIP (CLMHCP25/35000) took the top, yielded, sat pocket in tight quarters in the lane, angled clear too late to make a run.
