Thursday, April 27

BETTER CALL MOM (NW5000/3YOF) left fast to the top, yielded and was shuffled, rallied with good finish and was second best at wire and on the board to the winning favorite.

WARRAWEE YANG (NW2) trotter finished wide and well from nowhere. Beaten favorite earns a look in next.

NORTHERN MAGENTA (NW1FM) well-bet second choice was second over to poor cover, rallied wide and was second at the end. Do not ignore.

DAHLQUIST HANOVER (NW2) made an early brush to the top and never looked back.

Friday, April 28

STORYBOOK BELLA (NW15000FM) tucked to the quarter, tipped into the lane, finished full of pace and bears watching.

SO FRISKY (NW8000FM) was used a ways to the lead, met pressure in quick third panel, dug in game to the wire but was nailed.

ABRUZZO (NW2000) beaten favorite was parked a long way, met immediate pressure, put that challenger away but met a new challenge the final turn and tired. Beaten favorite also suffered broken equipment along the way and should not be ignored.

STAR SO BRIGHT (NW1FM) was parked to the lead, battled the whole mile, yielded the lead passing the third call, battled back in the lane and gamed out 2nd in 3-horse photo.

Saturday, April 29

VERDUN (NW15000) rallied strongly and ran out of track. Beaten favorite can atone in next.

WOODMERE STEALDEAL (NW16900) flew to the lead, yielded, sat pocket, finished with pace at over 40-1. Do not ignore in next race or two.

PARTYINTHESHADOWS and HP MOMENTUM (W2-5) dueled from the start to the top of the lane before destroying each other. Both tired but did not disappear in the lane.

ARTIES IDEAL (MW8700) rallied gamely between horses to be second in the photo at 55-1.

HUNTER HILL (NW1500) was parked the mile, challenged to the lane, had a lead but was nailed on the wire.

Monday, May 1

CARTER MICHAEL DEO (W2-4) was buried on the rail to the final turn, tipped, finished full of trot to be second best and would be no surprise.

WHITE TIGER (NW9250) was a handy wire to wire winner in last effort and can take another.

P L OPPORTUNITY (NW14000) closed well from the back again and should score in next.

SPARTAN GENERAL (COND) wheeled wide and won going away from second over in most recent.

I AMA ROCKET (CLMHCP25/35000) was used to the lead, set a good clip and was a handy winner in last.
