Friday, April 24
TAMAARA HANOVER (NW1600FM) was parked, grinded up on the rim, looked to be tiring but held well despite the trip.
KIERA SEELSTER (NW2500FM) was second over, gapped, rallied late from third over to be second best.
CHEESE PARTY (NW2500FM) rallied wide the final turn from 4th over, finished full of pace and bears watching.
BREEZY BELLE (NW1FM) tucked passing the quarter, pulled uncovered, rallied up, challenged and was gaining late to just miss. Beaten favorite can atone in next.
PIPERS LUNA (NW3FM) took the lead, yielded to the second favorite. Had traffic problems to the late stages and the beaten favorite can score in next.
I LOVE THIS BAR (NW1) won going away from 2nd over and wins another.
Saturday, April 25
UNCLE SHANK A (NW9000) went down the road in speedy mile and held easily. Will be looking to do it again.
DUBLIN DASHER (OPEN) trail, finished full of pace from third over hitting :26 for the last panel.
CAVIAR N CRACKERS (NW13750) beaten favorite closed well but had too far to come.
JMR SPEAK AWAY (NW9000) saved, angled out of traffic, slipped wide, finished strong and missed by three-quarters of a length.
ELBOWS UP (SPRING) yielded, retook, set a good clip but was nailed on the wire by late-rushing winner. Beaten favorite can atone.
JOHNNY ANGEL (NW2) tucked, brushed the final turn, opened up but tired. Beaten prohibitive favorite will win next if he makes same move.
ANGELS AMONG US (SPRING) took it down the road in the final and held off the favorite's uncovered bid. More wins in store for this filly.
Sunday, April 26
TORONTO (POPUP) was parked to the quarter, tucked, pulled to the half second over to the favorite, rallied wide at 12-1, went by the fave but was outkicked by the bombs-away winner. Would be no surprise in next race or two.
LOGAN PARK (OPEN) the front end was not the place to be Sunday night but the veteran trotter lived up to the victory that was expected judging by the way he was bet and he wired the field.
USAIN HANOVER (NW9500) trotter had poor cover, went wide, closed strong and won going away. Can take another.
BAYFIELD BEACH (CLMHCP12/16000) beaten favorite went down the road and was second best over the tiring track. Got claimed and should be in the hunt and as serious threat over a more favorable oval.
HUNGRY MAN (NW6500) came uncovered and won going away posting a quick last panel.
Monday, April 27
ACEFORTYFOUR DAISY (CLM18000FM) tucked, got shuffled, brushed, faced last-quarter pressure and was best. Got claimed and should give it a go in next.
BLAST OF SUNSHINE (CLM8000FM) rallied late with strong late pace (:26 4/5) chasing a three-move winner home and bears watching.
MY GHOST (NW2FM) filly was all wrapped up in 5 lengths jog and should take another.
WHT BLONDE HANOVER (NW1FM) beaten favorite made what some may consider a 'sympathy break' at the start as the one next to her broke. Do not overlook in next.
I DRINK SHE DRIVES (NW1) tucked to the quarter, was out third over the final turn and closed with good trot at 23-1 to earn a long look in next.
LO AND BEHOLD (NW2FM) tucked to the quarter, pulled to the third call, raced second over, finished full of trot to just miss the pacesetting winner.
ACEFORTYFOURAPOLLO (CLM20000) sat far back, rallied late and wide. Just missed in 4-horse photo.
