CODENAME CIGAR BOX (COND) sat last, rallied fast and missed by only a half.

GENTLEONMYMIND (NW2) was third over with good late move to be second to the favored pacesetter on a night favoring speed.

BAR DOWN JIM (OntS) left and was cut off into the turn, got parked, grinded uncovered the entire mile, tired but stayed around gamely.

STABLE GENIUS (W2-4) was a handy strong front-stepping winner in last and would be no surprise.

P L OPPORTUNITY (NW14200) beaten favorite showed no interest until the final turn, wheeled out, rallied wide from last place and closed stoutly to get up for 2nd place.
