?q=100)
Thursday, April 11
BET ON SUNSHINE (NW1) was off slowly, pulled to the three-quarters, raced fourth over and closed a ton to just miss.
LIGHTNING LIZZIE (SPRING/SERIES) was an impressive wire to wire winner in first-round action and should take another.
THINK AHEAD (SPRING/SERIES) sat to the final turn, tipped, finished strong to be second best at the wire and deserves a look in next race or two.
BETTORHOLDONTIGHT (CLM20000) followed wide and finished full of pace to just miss. Beaten favorite should atone in next.
Friday, April 12
WARRAWEEFORLAURA (SPRING/SERIES) pacer pulled to the third panel, lost cover heading home but rushed by to win easily in his division.
BETTER BE DONNA N (NW4550FM) tucked the pocket, got shuffled when her stablemate brushed to the lead, tipped heading home, rallied well enough to be second best to winning stablemate.
CONVOY HALL (SPRING/SERIES) trotter yielded, retook and was a handy winner in his division.
MISTER MAGIC (NW4000) beaten favorite was parked early, found a tuck but was moving soon. Came uncovered, chased all the way but could not not get there.
Saturday, April 13
ALL BEST ON TEX (W4-7) made a bold brush on the rim from the half to the third panel, challenged but tired. A better-timed move should get it done.
HIGHLANDBEACHSBEST (NW8850) was parked the mile, challenged hard, took the lead, opened up a bit but tired.
HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER (NW8850) full brother of the top one finished full of pace from nowhere in last and bears watching.
GLENBORO (NW8000FM) sat in, angled wide through stretch traffic, flashed some late speed once clear and bears watching.
ANGOSTURE HANOVER (NW14000FM) was 4th over, rallied well in tight packed stretch but was forced to take up when a foe bore out.
Monday, April 15
SWEET DEISEL (CLMHCP30/40000) grinded to the lead, met pressure the last turn but was a game winner...and was claimed.
CAPTAIN JACK HANOVER (CLMHCP19/24000) was second best in good effort. Got claimed and should give it another try.
BIG BULLY (CLMHCP19/24000) yielded for the pocket to the top one, nailed the win. Also got claimed and should be the one to beat again.
HEY RALPHIE (COND) took a short-lived tuck, pulled and followed cover, rallied gamely at at 14-1 and was second best in the photo.
CACTUSTOTHECLOUDS (W2-4) was parked to the lead, yielded for the pocket, tired but stayed to the end. Better luck might get it done.
