Race 1

(2) BLACK JACK PAT faces much easier here and she has a good chance to wire these. (5) SOS BAMBIE was in a tough spot last time chasing some hot fractions, but she stayed game. She can win this with a slightly better trip. (3) DON’T STOP BELIEVIN went a big trip and was just nailed late last time. She should be in the hunt. (7) BEACH GODDESS should be closing late for a slice here.

Race 2

(6) VINES TO HEAVEN was solid last week despite missing time; call to repeat. (2) PEARL BLUE CHIP is better than she showed last week. Perhaps coming back in seven days will make a difference. (4) FOR THE RECORD is another who is capable of much better. Maybe racing against her own age group will make a big difference. (5) MALNIFICENT has been good out of town and she isn’t out of this despite facing tougher here.

Race 3

(5) BETTER UP takes a massive class plunge here and he should be much better in this spot. (4) SPORTS TEEN upset in the Metro Pace Consolation and he should get a similarly good trip here. (1) SUNSHINES FINEST was overtaken late last time with seemingly no excuse but he fits here, and he should be heard from. (3) CAVIART ROCKLAND took his mark here earlier in the meet before venturing south with little success; consider for exotics.

Race 4

(4) TWENTY THREE RED returns quickly off the claim and she raced well at this level last week; top call. (2) P L HURRICANE hasn’t been a win machine this year, but she fits here, and she should be a big threat. (1) SHE LIGHTS OUT is worth a look adding Lasix. (6) MANHATTAN PLAY could move up in her second start back; consider for exotics.

Race 5

(7) SHARP ACTION MONEY drops into a much better spot here and he should get put into the race earlier; top call. (3) LEVIS DAY continues to race well but can’t seem to get a win. I’ll use him in the multis again. He’ll get the trip he needs one of these nights. (1) PHIL THE THRILL is another who has been facing some tough ones recently and should appreciate this class relief. (6) GRANTMEAWISH went too fast, too early last time. He could do better here if he gets a breather.

Race 6

(2) TRACEUR HANOVER almost bottomed out the field last week with Henry in the bike, beaten only by a tripped-out rival. He gets to drop a level here and he should beat these. (5) BIG BANG BOOM almost pulled off a bottoming out of the field of his own. He’s a threat from close range here. (8) COOL ROCK is at the top of his form, but he may find the choice and this post too tough; small share predicted. (4) SHAMBALLA is hard to figure out at this point; your call.

Race 7

(9) BRONX SEELSTER’s only recent loss was to Metro Pace winner Stag Party. He is the one to knock off here. (5) BETTORS WISH is the most likely upsetter of the choice if things go his way; using. (1) ROUSSEAU was impressive winning his last start, but these are much tougher; small share predicted. (7) HEISMAN PLAYER fared okay in the Metro Consolation; consider for exotics.

Race 8

(9) POWERFUL CHRIS had a perfect tune-up for this race after missing four weeks; top call. (5) SUMMER CHARM has been racing well down south and she looks like she could be a threat here. (8) SWEET YOUNG THING has shown promise in only three starts and she could hit the board at a price here. (10) SPRINGBRIDGE SASSY has missed time due to sickness and that concerns me more than the post for this filly. She may rally late and take a slice.

Race 9

(7) SANDBETWEENURTOES drops and she should pop in this spot. (6) ELLA CHRISTINA also faces easier and she should be rallying for a big piece of this. (4) ARTISTIC MADISON exits the Milton where she rallied for a check and she can also rally to hit the ticket here. (8) ACTION MAJESTY tripped out for second last week in the Preferred, but it will be tougher here starting from the outside facing several class-droppers.

Race 10

Stablemates (2) QUEBEC BLUE CHIP and (1) IDEATION HANOVER stick out here. Slight nod to the former who was wiped out by a rival in the stretch drive of her Shes A Great Lady elimination. (4) DEB merits a look off her Grand Circuit win two starts back if you are looking for one to upset the top pair. (3) BLOSSOM ONTHEBEACH moves in a few posts and she could trip-out to hit the ticket.

Race 11

(1) CLEAR IDEA plunges back down to the class level that she won at two starts back. She should be tough to beat here. (3) AINT THREE OK of course popped at 20/1 when I gave up on her last week. I’ll use her off that sharp win. (7) KIWI FOCUS should be a pace factor on the class drop and she will likely stick around for a share. (6) KLOOF STREET has won three of her last five after going 1 for 12 to start the year. She could better this placing with a good trip.

Race 12

(1) QUEENOFTHEJUNGLE showed a bit of life when dropped to this level last week. This race could set up for her patented late charge. (6) HP PANDORA is another closer who could benefit from an expected solid pace; using. (8) HOPE AND FAITH went a big trip to just miss las t week. She’s another that’s in with a decent chance in this contentious dash. (5) ART ANGEL BABY raced a bit better last week and she could hit the ticket at a price. (4) TAKEYOURBREATHAWAY ‘s second last start would give her a shot to take a share if she reverted to that kind of mile.
