Race 1
(1) DON'T STOP BELIEVIN was making a big move to get the lead on the last turn when she hooked wheels last week. She should bounce back in this spot and she might be a better price. (3) PEARL BLUE CHIP obviously faces much easier here, but notice she didn't convert in non-winners classes twice in July and she could get pounded at the windows here. (6) KLOOF STREET avoided the trouble to win last week, but she was also right on the choice's back and may have won anyway; using. (5) SOS BAMBIE flew late in the same race and she should make the Super ticket here, at a minimum.
Race 2
(5) JAMMIN JACK overcame an early miscue to win last time and while he will need to stay flat here, he is the fastest in the race if he stays on gait. (7) MISTER MAGIC was picked off late by the choice. He is sure gaited, and he could inherit a win here if the choice blows up again. (3) NOBODYNOSJUSTICE ships in of an excellent try at Trois Rivieres and he picks up McClure; using. (6) TAKTER has shown flashes on the rare occasions when he stays flat; consider using underneath.
Race 3
(5) T BARRR raced great on a sloppy track that was stopping speed all night. That effort should have him primed for a top try here. (4) MAJESTIC FIRE is one of the better ones in the division when he stays on gait. I'll use him in this Pick 5. (6) SAY YOU DO has raced well several times in a row and his good gate speed puts him right in the mix versus these. (3) DAYLON PHANTOM has a good record this year but is another who has been making frequent breaks. He should share here if he behaves.
Race 4
(8) YACHT SEELSTER comes out of two conditioned races vs. older that should have him tight as a drum for this Grassroots Semi-Final try; top call. (3) CASIMIR RICHIE P has been outstanding in his past two starts and he is obviously the one to beat but he will also be heavily bet. (9) JM JACK OF HEARTS has only missed the top three once and that was in a conditioned race when coming off a five-week break. He can make the ticket here, even starting out there. (1) GOLD RUSH has hit his best stride at the right time; consider for exotics.
Race 5
(5) HELLO LOVE was airborne late to get up to win last week and she couldn't be sharper right now; top call. (7) AZURE SEELSTER has won her last two Grassroots tries and racing against elders on September 14th should serve her well here; using. (8) PRINCESS ABIE W impressively took care of maidens last week but the top two here are way tougher; small share predicted. (2) SHADOW WORLD regularly shares in these races and she could even upset with the right trip.
Race 6
(7) MAGICS LUCKY CHARM comes off a very good effort from the 10-hole and she stands a good shot here. She also likely won't be the chalk; top call. (6) HOPES SOLO has gotten hot and she is the one to beat. Her gait issues seem to be behind her now. (5) STORMONT CHARLOTTE requalified well and fired a quick final 1/4. She isn't out of this. (9) EZEE TIGUAN is worth a look on the first-time McNair angle alone. She will likely be blasting for the front off the gate.
Race 7
(1) PRETTY N WELL has fired off quick final quarters in tow of her last three starts and she is getting good at the right time; slight nod. (5) ZORGWIJK SOPHIA was in a quick race vs. older at Flamboro to tighten up for this important dash and she should be ready to fire her best shot here. (4) MELANIE G is right there every week, although it seems more likely that she'll take a slice than win. (10) WHIP N NEIGH NEIGH has improved as the season has progressed and she should be a great price here; consider for exotics.
Race 8
(4) THE JOY LUCK CLUB ships back home and faces what should be easier here; slight nod. (1) AMERICAN SARA was in an impossible spot last time and she still came flying late. She's right in this. (6) BAROCKEY drops and she should get put into the race this time. She can win with a good trip. (7) WINDSONGMAGNIFIQUE is at the top of her game right now, but a smaller share seems likely vs. these.
Race 9
(6) NEON MOON is very hard to beat in Grassroots company and hot driver Jamieson is sure to be aggressive here. (9) KATNISS S BG has been on a roll out of town, but she may be racing for second here if the choice brings her A-game. (1) LIFELONG DREAM has been racing tough first up, but she's more likely to sit a trip here and take a slice. (4) ENCHANTED EVA is a good one to use on the bottom of Supers based on her last three starts.
Race 10
(5) PRETTY HANDSOME has been outstanding in his last two starts and I don't see him getting beat here. (4) LUKA SHENKO is consistent, but it may be a tall order for him to try to chase down the choice in the stretch here. (2) SHADOW MOON changes barns here which makes him worth a look on deeper Pick 4 tickets. (1) GIDEON SEELSTER looks next best and he can follow along and stay for a share.
Race 11
I love the way (6) SETANTA finished off both of his recent qualifying miles and I'll stab with him here in a wide-open race. (8) GISELE TREELANE got perfect position early last time, then ran. He can win this if he stays flat. (1) JOYOUS HALL drops and moves inside; using. (3) ETERNAL QUEST comes off a sharp effort in this class and he should be contentious here, too.
Race 12
(6) HP PANDORA paced a sub-27 third quarter and she still couldn't make the front last time. A better trip gets her a win here. (7) ANDERSON SEELSTER lands in a better spot here and she should be heard from. (9) QUEENOFTHEJUNGLE drops and she could wake up here at a price. (8) BIG CHUTE also is a class-dropper who could wake up and fire a big shot in this spot. (4) BERNADETTE is one you can count on to come late for a smaller share.
