Race 1
(1) PEARL BLUE CHIP was dead game when taking a new life's mark last week and this spot might be easier. She's a Pick 5 single for me. (8) XFINITY BEACH had an impossible trip last time, but check out her race three back when she was 2nd to the choice; exacta factor at a price. (4) NEON MOON has been racing well against some good ones in the Grassroots and she merits a look here. (2) CENALTA CALL GIRL outraced her odds last week and she's capable of hitting the ticket here, too.
Race 2
(3) CAROUSEL has fired home quickly in both qualifiers and she looks ready for a top effort at first asking here. (5) WELL SPOKEN LADY - a $70K Lexington buy - is a 1/2-sister to the good local mare Linwood Beach Girl; using. (6) AMERICAN MARILYN was bought for $55K at Harrisburg and she goes for a barn that has been firing on all cylinders with two-year-olds so far; don't discount. (8) SKATER CHICK made a nice late move in her lone qualifier. She has some potential here.
Race 3
(2) LIFELONG DREAM stays in the same class as last week and a similar move to control the race on the backside is likely here; call to repeat. (5) PROTECT BLUE CHIP rallied strongly for 2nd behind the choice and her improving form should be respected. (1) CARDIFF is capable of a much better try than what she produced vs. OSS Gold company last time. I'll use her underneath. (6) MITTANY NICOLE is always around the money it seems and she can take a slice here.
Race 4
(3) FOR THE RECORD loomed large on the final turn last week despite being out the whole way, but the leader was too strong. She gets my nod here. (2) SAULSBROOK BEAUTY has a lot of potential it seems and there is likely more speed available than what we've seen so far; using. (8) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP is hard to leave out coming off a sharp win last week. (7) CATCH AN ACE brings a very good record to the big track. She can take a slice here.
Race 5
(5) KAYS SHADOW drops back to a level where she should be a major player; top call. (1) P L KAHLUAA draws much better here and she should be a threat. (3) JET TO THE BEACH got hammered at the windows, then went and paced to a new life's mark last week. She merits a look here despite moving up. (8) BAD NIGHT MARE comes back fast which is a move that has worked for this barn recently. I'll use her underneath.
Race 6
This is a race that (8) KENDALL SEELSTER should win to get back on track; top call. (1) PLAY THE BELL was game and impressive in her comeback race and she could sit a great trip behind the choice here. (2) MANHATTAN AGAIN has form that's hard to fault except that she is an infrequent winner; using underneath. (6) BEACH GODDESS was game last time in defeat, but she rarely puts two good ones together in a row; your call.
Race 7
Tough race. I'll take a shot with (9) LITTLE RED CHEV who may try another speed mission in her third start back and she could last a long way this time. (7) ROSESAREEXPLOSIVE drops and she should be prominent here. (10) AMOREUSE HANOVER also drops and while the post is no bargain, these are much easier. (2) NORTHERN MAJOR is another who faces easier that merits a look in this spot.
Race 8
(1) NAUGHTY LADY B drops to the bottom off a decent effort and she rates highly here. (7) ACTION MAJESTY also takes a class plunge and she picks up McNair here. Expect an aggressive try. (6) TWICE AN ANGEL raced okay here on Tuesday and she could grab a share vs. these. (5) LEAVING A LEGACY has a good record the past two years and she's been racing well out of town. She's another that can take a slice.
Race 9
(9) BLANK CANVAS - a $30K Harrisburg purchase - qualified much faster than any of these have qualified or raced and his barn has been on fire with rookies; top call and Pick 4 single. (3) BUELLER finally gets a good post to work with and I expect a wakeup effort here. (8) PERKINS debuts for another barn that has been doing well with babies; consider for exotics. (5) LIFE IS BETTER can hit the ticket if he can get into contention this time.
Race 10
(7) SANDBETWEENURTOES found her best stride last time and came within two ticks of her lifetime best; call to repeat. (2) WITCH DALI flew home to just miss vs. the choice - her stablemate - and she should be right there again. (6) FIREBBY A adds Lasix for this after coming up short vs. Grand Circuit rivals. She's another who can win this. (3) THE JOY LUCK CLUB also exits the Grand Circuit and is another who can make this a very interesting race. It makes sense to price shop here.
Race 11
(1) SHES LIGHTS OUT drops into a logical spot here. Expect an aggressive try. (4) BOURBON SEELSTER came up just short in a good effort last week; using. (7) TWENTY THREE RED goes for the top barn off the claim here which is an angle you can't underestimate. (8) WANDA BAYAMA is one of Cullen's best racehorses and he kept her sidelined for seven months while he was under suspension. Watch how she goes for next week. (5) MANHATTAN PLAY is a good one to use underneath when making vertical wagers.
