This race looks like it can set up for a closer and (5) EXPLOSIVE JET may be in the best position. Slight nod in a wide-open race. (2) KENDRAS COCO bottomed out the field the other night but now she loses driver Roy which may be critical; mixed signals here. (10) CABERTOSS can leave for decent position here and that could lead to a second straight win; using. (4) IONIA can produce big early speed which may help set the race up for the closers.

Race 2 - Ontario Sired 3YO Fillies Grassroots Starters in 2018

(5) KYLIE SEELSTER paced a 27-flat third 1/4 on the rim while challenging and she still had enough left to kick home in 27 2/5. She should be hard to beat here moving to the middle of the gate. (2) D GS FAIRYSTARS is the type Roy trips out then rolls by with late; using in the Pick 5. (7) BLACKCHEDDAR will be a speed threat again and she can hang around for a share. (6) ERIKAS SHADOW isn't likely to get the same trip she had last time; small share predicted.

Race 3 - CLM HDCP $18K to $25K

(5) RACEMUP raced too good to lose last week. He will likely pocket up behind expected early leader (6) ROYAL RENEGADE then pounce late. The latter has been racing tough every week and he's the one to catch again. (3) OH K MAN can close for a smaller share here. (1) P L IDAHO goes back to Moreau here, but he often finished on the fringes during his last stint in that barn.

Race 4 - F&M NW $6K L5 or $13K L10 AE: OPT CLM $15K $50K GTD Pick 4

(7) SOUTHWIND ION goes first time for Auciello here and that makes her an angle play for me. (4) SLY ELEANOR N gets her regular driver back after kicking home in 26-flat last week. She should be a threat here. (3) KIWI FOCUS N drops and she was 2nd to a good one racing in this class two starts back; using. (1) PRETTY HOT drops gets a driver change and moves inside. She should be much better here.

Race 5 - F&M 5YO and Younger NW 5 or $75K LT

(5) BODICEA lays over these off her most recent effort, but she is between stakes engagements here. If the intent is there, she should be very tough. (2) VILLAGE JOULES seems capable of sitting a nice trip near the front and she has upset possibilities here. (6) OUR VACATION drops back to a level where she won three and four starts back. I'll toss her on multi-race tickets. (9) BETCHA BABY would be rated higher from a better post, but she may sneak onto the Tri or Super ticket.

Race 6 - NW 3 (F&M5) or $46K LT

(5) ROYALE ELITE moves to the middle of the gate following a decent try from the worst post and he gets the nod here. (7) CHARMBO GOLDEN is a threat to repeat coming off a strong lifetime-best score; using. (2) TEDDYS LITTLEANGEL should get an easier trip moving inside here and she merits a long look for Pick 4 tickets. (6) COLD BEER HERE brings some excellent form in from the B tracks. He should take at least a slice here.

Race 7 - F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $25K LT

(5) SAINT ALBRAY set the table for the filly that was on her cover last time but that was a strong effort and she looks best here. (3) ABUELITA HANOVER raced tough when 2nd to an unyielding leader. She is the main threat. (9) PREMIER CABERNET nailed the choice late, but I'm not sure she can work out a similar trip starting from the worst post here. (6) GREEN POINT often finishes on the edges; consider using underneath.

Race 8 - F&M NW $10K L5 or $21K L10 AE: OPT CLM $25K

(1) AZURE SEELSTER takes a big drop here and meets a field she should handle; no excuses. (7) MACHNHOPE is sharp and she should be a pace threat again here. She's the other one that I'll use in the late Pick 4. (4) FOLLOWTHEWIND N comes off a good try vs. lesser. She is a good one to use underneath here. (3) OUTLAW IMAHOTVIXEN finishes fast every week. A better start can land her in the Super here.

Race 9 - F&M NW $25K L5 AE: NW $175K LT or OPT CLM $60K

(2) SANDBETWEENURTOES gets away from Shartin and Seaswift Joy here and she should enjoy this class relief; top call. (4) AMERICAN SARA rallied strongly to beat a class-dropping chalk last week. She is too sharp to ignore right now. (1) JUST HER LUCK should get a good trip leaving from the inside here and she is an exotics factor. (3) THIS DRAGON ROCKS has 11 slices in 19 races this year; using underneath.

Race 10 - F&M NW $15K L5 or NW $25K L10 AE: NW $110K LT or OPT CLM $35K Can Am Pk 4 Leg 1

(6) BLACK JACK PAT dominated in a new life's mark last time when coming off the shelf and a repeat of that mile would make her very tough here. (7) WITCH DALI was nailed late by a rival that flew home in 26-flat. She is better racing off a helmet and she might roll by these late this time. (2) P L HURRICANE is always around the money in these classes; using underneath. (3) THE JOY LUCK CLUB is in excellent form and she should take at least a piece of this.

Race 11 - NW $3K L5 or $7K L10 Can Am Pick 4 Leg 3

(7) FOOT SOLDIER had a tightener now he faces easier; top call. (6) SPORTS TEEN raced okay out of the 10-hole last time. He should hit the board for the first time in 2019 here. (4) PRO BEACH looked good last time when he made front, but he was nailed late. He needs to find more late speed. (5) DEWAR N JACK qualified well enough to suggest he can share here. (8) PHANTOM SEELSTER drops again, but he appears to be badly off form. I'll play to beat him.
