(7) JUST HER LUCK raced okay vs. better in the slop, now she gets to take another class drop and she fits well here; top call. (9) KIWI FOCUS N makes her first start for a new owner/trainer and she has enough speed for these if ready; using. (5) CHOCOLATEMILKTOAST is another mare coming off a break who is worth a look vs. these. (1) SO LONG DARLING fits okay here and she can get a trip then land in the Super.
Race 2- F&M CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $68,000 LT
(7) K J ALISON looks clearly best here but her price should be puny. She will likely be everyone’s Pick 5 single, so I’ll add (6) FLUENTOCITY as a price option off the Pereira claim. (5) MONEYMAKERHERSMILE was in a tough spot chasing a leader that got an early breather. She should hit the board here. (3) PAZZA HANOVER is capable at this level but she may need a start; small share predicted.
Race 3 – NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10
(4) SEVEN IRON ships north coming out of some tougher races and he goes for Auciello here. He will probably get hammered at the windows, but he has a big shot here. (6) STORMONT ROYALTY faces easier here and he can wake up in this spot; Exacta factor. This is a spot where (2) WIKI HANOVER should improve and he is worth a look for the Tri and Super. Henry had other options here and chose him. (5) GREAT MAGIC won't get bet much here but he could sneak onto the bottom of the Tri or Super at a price.
Race 4 – F&M NW $16,000 L5 or $29,000 L10 or NW $115,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $35,000 - Pick 4
(6) SANDBETWEENURTOES returns from a freshening in a good spot and Moreau's barn has been hot recently; top call. (1) INVERSE HANOVER won at this level in December and she returns quicker here; using. (3) WINDSONGMAGNIFIQUE is in excellent form and she gets a much better post here. She is another in with a decent chance in a contentious race. (9) TABLES BIG SECRET hasn't missed the board in a while, and she should be a good price again; consider for the exotics.
Race 5 – BLIZZARD - FINAL - 3 & 4 YEAR OLD FILLIES & MARES
(10) SUGAR DANCE demolished her life's mark last week and she will be tough to beat here if she gets a reasonable trip. (2) BACK IN THE GAME was sharp last week too, and she may look to get the jump on the choice here. I'll use her on multi-race tickets. (6) BETSEA never misses the board and she is an obvious one to use in Tris. (7) VINTAGE WHEY is capable of better and she could be an overlay in this spot. You could bet worse longshots on this card.
Race 6 – NW $6,000 L5 or $13,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $20,000 - Late Pick 5
(3) VEYRON was stuck in traffic for too long last week, but he did have late trot to offer when he had clear sailing. I'll stick with him here. (1) ON THE SLY looked a winner in early stretch then a rival powered by late. He should be a big threat again. (10) MEADOWBRANCH MEMO won at this level two starts back. He should be in the mix here and he is another live chance in this race. (5) A J DESTINY has been hot since being claimed and he should get a good trip racing near the front here; using underneath.
Race 7 – SNOWSHOE - FINAL - 3 & 4 YEAR OLD COLTS AND GELDINGS - Pick 4
(8) CONBOYVILLE was in no man's land while the leader was sprinting away last week. Bettors being a "what have you done for me lately?" group, his odds will jump markedly, and he is worth a stab in a spot where he could get a great setup. (6) WARRAWEE VITAL blasted and dominated last week and he should be the one to beat. (2) BETTOR B GOING should be more aggressive early here and he should hit the ticket, at a minimum. (4) SPRINGBRIDGE JIM may not have produced his best race yet and he is another to consider in this contentious stakes series final.
Race 8 – F&M NW $7,500 L5 or $17,500 L10 or NW $70,000 LT
(3) THIS DRAGON ROCKS - a winner three starts back - had excuses in her next two now she gets to drop, and she draws well; top call. (6) P L HURRICANE qualified well for this and at this level she could dominate if she is fully cranked up. (2) JUST MY SHADOW also drops, and she gets MacDonald in the bike here. She should wake up with a better effort. (1) WHISTYS PARADISE should pass a few of these and she's a good one to use in the 3-4 slots here.
Race 9 - FILLIES and MARES PREFERRED
(2) SO MUCH MORE took a shot at Sintra last time with this class not offered since January 10th. Back with her own gender here, she should be tough. (3) KENDALL SEELSTER is sharp and the obvious main danger to the choice in this spot. (5) DOUBLE A MINT has done well for her new connections so far and she brings it every week; using underneath. (6) MACHNHOPE has improving form and she can sneak into the Super at a price here.
Race 10 – F&M 5YO and Younger NW2 or $30,000 LT
(6) ALLY ELIZABETH was in a tough spot trying to advance uncovered into a 27-flat final 1/4. Her price goes up and she should get a more solid pace to chase here. (3) COVER STORY was well-meant for her debut and she delivered. She should be right there again. (1) SUGAR SHADOW can get a trip here following along from the inside post; using. (2) MARY KAT got a great breather, but she couldn’t convert. She should still be in the exotics mix here, though. (9) SOUTHWIND BAYOU showed some ability last year and she could add some value to the Super and High-5 here.
