Race 1
(2) MAJESTIC MYSTIC gets a notable trainer and driver change which is sure to attract plenty of action at the windows, but this looks like a down the road try from new driver Zeron. (1) MYSTICAL MISSION returns at a low level for him and his 28 1/5 kicker over a good track rated one second slow intrigues; using underneath. (3) HANKS TANK blew up at the start after getting hammered at the windows last week. He can be a threat if he trots. (4) REVENUE AGENT has a good try at this level two starts back and he can hit the ticket here.
Race 2
(5) XELENE BAYAMA may have paced the best race last week but passing them all was a tall task in a race where the early pace was very slow; top call. (6) THIS DRAGON ROCKS beat the choice, but she enjoyed a soft pace while leading throughout. She is a contender, but no lock. (1) VINES TO HEAVEN tried to fire up the inside and fell just short. She's not out of this. (2) TAKEYOURBREATHAWAY is an honest trier who could capitalize if the late pace falters.
Race 3
(4) DARLINONTHEBEACH looked like her old self last week, unleashing an impressive late rally. She will be tough to beat on a repeat. (2) DOUBLE A MINT showed no rust despite missing four weeks, throttling elders and while this is obviously tougher, she merits a look. (6) KENDALL SEELSTER should be passing many of these again down the lane. (5) EXHILARATED tries hard every week and is a money-earning machine. She will be somewhere on the ticket at the wire.
Race 4
(8) SHE CAN PARTY dropped, popped and now she stays at the same level. She is a strong repeat candidate and she'll probably get claimed. (7) IVESEENTHEFUTURE is stuck on one win but she goes for a tag for the first time in her career here and she should be in the mix. (3) WINDSONG OLYMPIA is racing off the claim here and she's another to consider for multi-race wagers. (2) FADE AWAY got the worst trip last time and understandably tired. Her price will go up here and she isn't out of this.
Race 5
(4) WINNING LYRIC has seen better days, but he is probably best here if all is okay with him. (9) ON THE SLY has some lines five and six races back that makes him interesting here with the barn switch to Moreau; using. (8) EXPLOSIVE JET is right there every week racing in this class; using underneath. (7) LMC MASS OAK was beating conditioned foes when last seen, so being offered for $12K here is a red flag for me. I'll play to beat him.
Race 6
(5) SHADOW WORLD was flying late last week and moving inside should give her a chance to lay closer early; top call. (2) SAND ARTIST rallied impressively to nail a big chalk who has already come back to win; using. (3) THRILLONTHEBEACH is another impressive rallier who can take this with the right trip. I'll use all three of these fillies in the Pick 4. (4) LADY GRANDE should get a good trip near the front to take another share.
Race 7
(1) BLACK JACK PAT moves inside after having a comeback start and I'll give her a slight nod in a race where I don't love anything. (8) REGAL LUCK drops to a spot where she should be more effective, and she has some options leaving the gate; using. (5) NO MO FO JOE couldn't sustain a move when the pace suddenly picked up in the stretch, but she's in with a chance here in a race where many have sketchy recent form. (7) WATCH MY LUCK has a couple of starts at Northlands Park that makes her a possibility for the exotics here.
Race 8
(4) FACE OF WAR went a long trip and made an unsuccessful move to try to chase down the winner who was taking his sixth tally in a row. This race could come down to him and (6) NOW WHAT HANOVER, a horse he followed most of the way last week who had an equally long trip. (7) JIMMY BE GOOD rallied late to beat the top two, but he gets the worst post now and trip should be easier for the other duo; using underneath. (3) BS TYRRIFIC exits two sharp tries and he should be right in the mix again here despite moving up a class.
Race 9
(1) WINDSONGMAGNIFIQUE took a new life's mark six starts back when she last raced in this class and she has a good chance to control things here. (2) BAROCKEY drops and moves inside. She should wake up with a better try here. (7) REQUEST FOR PAROLE always tries hard and she is tough to leave out even from the worst post. (6) P L HURRICANE is another who should produce a better effort here, but she may be rallying too late.
Race 10
(4) YARIS BAYAMA took a mark of 1:51 2/5 here racing out of Larocque's barn in October in an OSS Gold event, so there is no question she is fast enough and classy enough to beat these. She's faced a steady diet of older horses lately and this should be an easy spot vs. her own gender; Pick 4 single. (6) TWICE AN ANGEL has done okay in the top class at Flamboro. She should be in the hunt here. (1) KAYS SHADOW showed some signs last week and she can take a share here. (7) BIG CHUTE adds Lasix which should make her a speed threat for at least a piece of the mile. (10) NAUGHTY LADY B can pass many of these late and finish on the edges.
