Race 1
(7) DOTTIE was put in an impossible spot last time but off that mile she will likely be a huge price here and she's shown she's capable in this class. I'll stab here in the opener. (3) HANKS TANK was good in defeat last week and he should be chalk here and he's in with a very good shot. (2) ETRUSCAN HANOVER drops again off a solid effort from the 10-hole. I'll use him in this Pick 5. (5) MYSTICAL MISSION kicked home in 28 flat last time which makes him another viable threat here.
Race 2
This claiming handicap came up light on both entries and form and this is the kind of race where teamster Roy will likely try to impose his will with (3) KWICKY KWANZAA. He gets my nod. (6) BRICKMAN should go much better vs these; using. (4) PRINCE GIOVANNI gets away from the streaking Think Again which should help here. He's another contender, but he is often a victim of pace and trip. (5) REIKI drops in class but also loses Lasix. He could wake up and beat a couple of these.
Race 3
(3) SAND ARTIST was in a hopeless spot last time, trying to rally into a swift final 1/4. This field doesn't look as tough; top call. (5) WOODMERE CEILIDH gets a look on the barn change alone; using. (4) DREAMFAIR ETERNITY's 10 wins on the year stick out and she closed well last week. She's not out of this. (1) SLY ELEANOR N can rebound and take a smaller share if she stays flat this time.
Race 4
(6) BETTORS UP takes a large class plunge here and it's hard to see her getting beat by these. (2) MACHNHOPE has been sharp for several weeks straight and she can be an exacta factor here. (8) TAJMEALLOVER has 28 exacta finishes in her last 36 starts and this barn has been live since moving in from Edmonton; consider for exotics. (7) SUDDEN PASSING will likely be sending again. She can hang around for a slice here.
Race 5
(5) WATCH MY LUCK was sharp in her local debut, she just had too much to do in the lane. She can beat these if she gets a better start. (7) ART ANGEL BABY doesn't win often, but McNair moved her up and he returns here so she's on my multi-race tickets. (1) TWICE AN ANGEL dug in late to chase down a tiring leader and although she steps up, she could trip out here starting from the inside. (4) PRETTY HOT drops and she should be heard from at some point of this mile.
Race 6
(9) SLIP INTO GLIDE lays over this group on form and he goes for Moreau/Roy off the claim. He's a chalky Pick 4 single for me. (6) LUCYS MAN wasn't chasing down a sharp Winning Lyric last time, but he could get a big piece of this with a decent trip. (2) PARKHILL HORTON was good in his first race off the claim and he is another good one to use underneath here. (8) EXPLOSIVE JET is worth a look off the Marty Fine claim; notice the 20 slices on her card the past two years.
Race 7
(4) FACE OF WAR looked like a winner in mid-stretch last time, but another rallier held him off. He can turn the tables here if put into action early. (7) A BOY NAMED SUUUZZ tried much better and got a poor result, so he is right back where he won six straight previously; using. (2) DEVILS PEAK was kept alive by Roy in the lane to notch an upset last week and he is a contender right back vs. these. (3) LATE NIGHT should be able to take at least a share racing against this group.
Race 8
(7) DARLINONTHEBEACH set the table for the winner last week by providing perfect cover and she stayed game to the end. She can rebound with a different trip here. (3) DOUBLE A MINT got in an early tussle then was forced to re-move in the third 1/4 and she tired a bit late. There isn't likely to be that much action here which improves her chances. (6) KENDALL SEELSTER tripped out to beat the two choices, but she doesn't need a perfect trip to contend. (2) SANDBETWEENURTOES can sit a good trip and take a share here.
Race 9
In a wide-open race, I'll side with (1) MISTER MUSCLE, who may control affairs from start to finish on the drop and pop. (7) GREAT MAGIC has two solid efforts in a row in this class and he never gets bet; longshot chance. (9) ADVERSITY has to be considered despite his post dropping into this spot. (6) HEINEKEN SEELSTER brings good form in and he's worth a look getting McClure.
Race 10
(7) P L HURRICANE will get hammered at the windows on the class drop here, but she should be formidable. (2) PEARL BLUE CHIP is capable in this company and her most recent qualifier was very good. She is a decent alternative to the chalk if you are price searching. (10) BAROCKEY takes the same drop as the choice but she draws the outermost post and may get the worst of it in the opening 1/4; using underneath. (6) COUSIN MARY is capable of better and she can hit the ticket leaving from a good post. (4) OUTLAW FIREBALL was flying last time, but it was too late. She could better this placing with a good trip.
