Race 1 – NW5 (F&M4) or $64,000 (F&M$64,000) LT - **$50,000 GTD Pick 5**
(4) WINGS OF SPEED is in excellent form and looks fastest here. He looks best but he may get overbet. I’ll use (3) LEFKADA as a Pick 5 alternative. He is capable racing here at this level, but he may offer some value coming off a loss at Flamboro. (2) TRIX AND STONES gets McClure here for his second start back and after getting a clean line. He isn’t impossible in this spot. (6) JUMPSHOT took heavy action last time and disappointed. He could be an underlay here again.
Race 2 – F&M NW $6,000 L5 or $15,500 L5 AE: OPT CLM $15,000
(6) MANHATTAN AGAIN races better at this level and sharp improvement is expected here. (4) PRESCIENT BEAUTY’s form has come around recently and she fits well here; using. (9) SOS BAMBIE raced well out of the second tier last week. Her price should be better here. (8) OUTLAW IMAHOITVIXEN takes a double class dip here and she’s worth a look for the exotics, at least.
Race 3 – F&M NW8 or $145,000 LT
Interesting race with a compact field. (4) SHES GOT PIZAZZ was hung a long way on the rim last time and she paid the price. She has a recency edge on many of these and she probably won’t get bet much; slight nod. (3) TEDDYS LITTLEANGEL could get sent hard early here in a race where the leader will likely have a tactical advantage; using. (6) HP TITANIA RUNNER has the talent and speed to contend here as does (5) SPLURGE ON ME. It makes sense to price shop in this race.
Race 4 – F&M NW $25,000 L5 or NW $175,000 LT AE OPT CLM $60,000 - **$50,000 GTD Pick 4**
(7) LIT DE ROSE will be very tough right back coming off taking a new lifetime mark last week; top call. (5) BETTER BE DONNA N was third to the two top aged pacing mares on the ground last week. She should be an Exacta factor here. (1) DON’T STOP BELIEVIN is worth an exotics look making her second start back and dropping from the top level. (3) SO MUCH MORE should be closing for another share here.
Race 5 – CLM HDCP $8,000 to $10,000
(6) CASIMIR OVERDRIVE gets Henry to drive while racing off the claim and I’ll take a stab here in a wide-open race. (2) UNPRECENDENTED comes back quick off a win and he should be in the hunt again while leaving from a good post. (9) E L WILD SPIRIT is still a viable option while racing off the claim here; using. (7) THINK AGAIN figures to come on late again and he is another that can win this with the right setup.
Race 6 – HARVEST SERIES - 2ND LEG - ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS
(7) LIFETIME ROYALTY popped for his first win of the year last week in the opening leg of this series. Roy will put him in position early to give him a good chance to double up; top call. (9) OKEANOS had a tougher trip than the choice and he was just shaded on the line. He is the main threat. (1) ARCANUM was solid winning the slower split last week. I prefer to use him underneath here. (4) P L MATT will be closing if he stays flat. Put him on the bottom of your Tris and Supers.
Race 7 – NW $6,000 L5 or $13,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $20,000
(4) WHAT A RUSH was motoring late in the 1 3/8 mile race last week after racing 5th-over. He can get a better trip here and beat these. (1) BAUTISTA will be everyone’s trip horse after getting hopelessly buried last week. He can win this, but he is likely to get over bet off that trouble. (8) WILLYORWONTHE is capable at this level and he should be a price; using. (2) ELYSIUM LINDY gets a notable driver change here and he is another who can upset with the right trip.
Race 8 – F&M 5YO and Younger NW3 or $53,000 LT
(5) UNDEFIABLE was close in this class two starts back and she looks as good as any in a wide-open race. (3) TRIP ACES HANOVER faces easier here and with her effective tactical speed, she should be heard from in this spot. (2) BE BEST also is in an easier spot here and she’s the third one that I’ll use in this late Pick 4. (6) CHARMBO BRIE can close late for a share and add some value to this Tri or Super.
Race 9 – F&M NW $12,500 L5 or NW $26,500 L10 or NW $75,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $25,000 – 1 3/8 Miles
(6) WITCH DALI can be a relentless closer on her best day so this distance might be perfect for her; top call. (7) COUSIN MARY – like the choice – drops in class but she tends to get over driven at times; your call. (3) MACHNHOPE drops and she has a lethal late kick on her best day; using underneath. (9) MAJOR LEAGUE N is worth a look making her North American debut while adding Lasix. .
Race 10 – F&M NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10
(5) BETTER SINGLE drops again following a decent effort against the tough Hello Love. She should boss this group. (1) MANDY KRIDEN A is likely to win the first time she stays flat in a race; maybe tonight? (2) MAKE MINE MOCHA should get much better trip here; consider for exotic bets. (8) SLY ELEANOR was first up for a long way last week and she paid the price. She should be charging late this time. (6) PRETTY HOT is another who had a rough trip that could improve sharply here.
