(5) MYSTERY BET got an impossible trip last week when returning from a month break. Now, he comes back quicker, draws better, and gets Hudon to drive; price play. (6) TIKI TAKA fits well at this level and if he stays flat here, he is likely the one to beat. (7) MORALLY FLEXIBLE is worth a pick 5 look getting Roy to drive here after breaking as the even-money choice. (2) HETTIES COMMANDER was motoring late, but he could get overbet off that race. Race 2- SNOWSHOE - 1ST LEG - 3 & 4 YEAR OLD COLTS AND GELDINGS
(3) BETTER B GOING was conservatively driven last time from an outer post but his late burst should have him perfectly-primed for this stakes series and he gets the nod here. (1) SIDE HILL GOUGER was nailed late by a good colt and he should be the main threat. (2) EXCAVATOR is capable of tripping out racing near the front and taking a good share here. (6) OHARE HANOVER will be passing a few of these late again; using underneath.
Race 3 – F&M CLM $15,000 for NW $71,000 LT
(1) P L LIGHTNING was too far back in the slop last week and she could only make slight gains on the leaders. She is in a better spot here and she can bounce back. (2) PATRICKS COOKIE finished ahead of the choice in a good effort and she should be the main danger. (8) FERN HILL BELLA has been very sharp racing at Flamboro, and she is not out of place vs. these. I’ll use her in this Pick 5. (6) HIGHMOON SUNSHINE blew up in the slop when racing in a better field. She is another who could do here if she behaves this time.
Race 4 – NW 3 (F&M5) or $45,000 (F&M $60,000) or NW1 in 2019 - **GTD $50,000 Pick 4**
(3) BLAZING TRAIL won immediately when switched to the Gallucci barn now he returns in another winnable spot, but he has missed six weeks. Top call, but I won't take a short price considering the time off. (6) P L MATT raced well in the slop last time and with his improving form he is worth a look here. (8) ZIG ZAG continues to race well, and he is hard to leave off early multi-race tickets. (4) CHEATALOTPOV can pass a few of these and come on late for a small share.
Race 5 - F&M NW $6,000 L5 or $13,000 L10 or NW $55,000 LT or NW $1,340/start in 2019-20
(6) ST SOMEWHERE looked like a winner until very late when a rival flew down the middle of the track. She could go right down the road here coming back quickly. (5) WATCH MY LUCK is capable of better. Maybe she wakes up here in her third start back? (8) MISS MADY raced well chasing a dominant favorite and she is in with a shot here. (1) CHARMBO BRIE is capable of better and she should get an easier trip here; using underneath.
Race 6 – F&M NW $10,600 L5 or $26,000 L10 or NW $95,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $25,000 - Late Pick 5
Tough race here with several legit chances. (1) SLY ELEANOR N may get the best trip following a helmet, I'll give her a slight nod over (10) LADY ROCKNROLLA A, who was dominated a class lower last week. (5) THATS INCREDIBLE is sharp and likely will go better if the track is fast. (8) SUNDAY AFTERNOON is capable at this level and she isn't likely to get bet much. Give her a price look for the exotics.
Race 7 – SNOWSHOE - 1ST LEG - 3 & 4 YEAR OLD COLTS AND GELDINGS
(3) BLU CREW was an easy winner on Monday night preparing for this stakes series. He gets the call to repeat off that sharp victory. (1) AMERICAN RISK is razor-sharp and dangerous in this spot; using. (4) CONBOYVILLE had a nice tightener for this and he is certainly capable here. He's on my multi-race tickets. (2) RAYS KREDIT raced well at Flamboro Downs with the trainer in the bike now he gets McNair here; using underneath.
Race 8 – F&M NW1 or $9,800 LT - Pick 4
(4) WINDSUN JUNO was conservatively driven in her debut and she finished full of pace but ran out of racetrack. She likely converts as a big chalk here. (2) SUGAR SHADOW can go better here making her third start back and drawing well; Exacta factor. (7) MISS WATERBUFFALO had little fight in the lane last week. She likely reverts to closing tactics here and comes on late for a slice. (6) LADY LIMELIGHT brings good form from Flamboro and she is worth a look at a price for use underneath.
Race 9 - SNOWSHOE - 1ST LEG - 3 & 4 YEAR OLD COLTS AND GELDINGS
(1) WARRAWEE VITAL's lethal late kick should play well here and he is the one to beat. (5) BIG MACHIN JIM looks next best and he should get put into play earlier here. (4) U BETTIM WATCHING was a winner right away first time in the Moreau barn. He is capable of sharing here. (6) D GS SHALLWEDANCE will be there early again but likely finish on the edges.
Race 10 – F&M NW $6,000 L5 or $13,000 L10 or NW $55,000 LT or NW $1,340/Start in 2019-20
(1) LYONS HEDGEABET takes a big drop here and she should wake up vs. these. (2) VILLAGE JAMIE should get a good trip racing near the front; Exacta factor. (7) PASSPORT HANOVER is likely to blast again, and she can last longer against this group; using underneath. (3) WHISTYS PARADISE races better when she makes one late charge and she should be coming late again here.
Race 11 - F&M CLM HDCP $10,000 to $12,000
(9) E R RHONDA draws worst but she was claimed by the top barn and she gets the call here despite her post. (8) HAMMERING HALEY gave the choice a good race last week and she should be the main threat again. (6) RUSTYS FLYING is right there every week and she should get a good piece of this. (3) SILVERHILL MISTY was aggressive last week and she hung in there decently. I'll use her on the bottom here. (4) BENS JENNA should pass a few of these late and she can land in the High-5.
