Race 1
(1) RUE HANOVER lands in a good spot to break her maiden here and she really has no excuse facing this group; top call. (4) VANITY GIRL tired late in her first Mohawk start but she returns quicker here, and she should be tighter; using. (8) KEEP FOCUSED is a logical contender dropping out of a stakes series and she should get put into play early here. I'll toss her in the Pick 5. (7) SPRINGBRIDGEVISION gets a driver upgrade here, but she'd need to shave five seconds off to win this; smaller share predicted.
Race 2
(7) JOHNNY BRAVO easily handled all these foes last week and he should prove tough to beat right back. (2) DRAFT YEAR will win when he decides to trot an entire mile, but it's anyone's guess when that mile is coming. (1) EDDY was a decent 2nd to the choice last time. He should hit the board here. (5) CHARLIE ON A HARLEY was no match for the choice last time and figures to take a small slice again here.
Race 3
(5) ACTION MAJESTY gets a class drop and better post here, so she should get put into play early. This is a field that she should handle. (1) FIRESTORM is worth a look adding Lasix and drawing inside here. (2) E R RHONDA got a tour of the track last week when she drew poorly. She could do much better here. (7) QUEENOFTHEJUNGLE was the easiest of winners last week but she seems better suited to that lower class; using underneath only.
Race 4
(6) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ shoots for four straight here and the way he has been racing, he should be tough to upend again; top call and multi-race single. (7) NOW WHAT HANOVER should be closing late as always, and he stands a good chance of completing the exacta. (4) JIMMY BE GOOD always finishes on the edges it seems and he is a good one to use for rounding out Tris and Supers. (8) DEEPFAVE HANOVER could get a soft trip racing on or near the lead; consider at a price.
Race 5
(2) MACHNHOPE paced a sub-27 second third quarter to get in contention last week then powered up late to get the win. Off that very sharp effort, I'll call her to repeat. (7) ARTISTIC MADISON will likely get hammered at the mutuels on the class drop and while she's an obvious fit here, she's no lock. (9) MAKE MINE MOCHA comes in from Indiana off two sharp tries and she goes for the Moreau barn here. I'll toss her on my multi-race tickets. (3) DONT STOP BELIEVIN is right there every week and she should be the one to catch again.
Race 6
(3) STONEBRIDGE HALL got a test drive last week when saddled with the worst post. Sharp improvement is expected here. (9) SLIP INTO GLIDE has found a home in this class and he'll be tough right back racing off the claim. (8) THE POWER OF MANY is capable of much better racing in her proper class here. I'll use her underneath. (4) BOP TOO THE TOP is usually finishing on the fringes and she's useable in the Super at a price.
Race 7
(2) PHANTOM SEELSTER has dominated this series so far and there's no reason to think he won't complete the sweep here. (8) HE GOT SWAGGER was motoring late last time and he may go off as an overlay starting from out there; exacta factor. (4) MISSION THREE gave the choice a good battle last week, but he couldn't stay with him late. He should hit the ticket here. (5) WESTLUCKY TERROR has been right there each week and he may be rated a bit low here as I try to get a price into the exacta.
Race 8
(1) RUBIS PRESCOTT moves inside after a speed try from the outer post last week and she should get an easier trip here; top call. (4) CENALTA CALL GIRL exits a very fast race where she raced evenly. She fits better here. (9) ANDERSON SEELSTER ripped off a quick mile to win when claimed and if she can reproduce that effort she can contend here at a price. (8) BERNADETTE sprung to life last time, winning against similar over a wet track. She's not out of this, but from post 8, I prefer to use underneath.
Race 9
(1) KENDALL SEELSTER has been stellar the past two weeks and I don't see her getting stopped here. (3) SANDBETWEENURTOES was no match for the choice last time and now she missed a week. She likely fills out a chalky exacta here. (2) EXHILARATED sits a trip then gets what she can depending on racing luck in the lane. I've given up guessing how that will work out, but I don't see her beating the choice anyway. (5) REQUEST FOR PAROLE is as game as they come and worth a stab if she gets ignored at the windows.
Race 10
(6) BIG CHUTE faces easier, so she gets the call in a race where I have no solid opinion. (3) ROBINTHEATM tried hard in her first start over the track and perhaps she'll last longer on the lead if the track is dry. (4) MANHATTAN PLAY is still winless for the year, but she has several good recent tries and she can compete with these. (5) JUSTABIT MEAN should be passing rivals in the final quarter to take a share. (10) MEA LILLEY MARK fits this class well and she could crash the exotics at a big price starting from out there.
