Race 1
(5) AVUNCULAR had to make two moves last time and that's not his game. He stands a decent chance to land in probable chalk (7) THE POWER OF MONEY's pocket here and if he does, he could convert at a square price. The latter is an obvious Pick 5 must-use, but no lock here. (6) TIKI TAKA should rebound with a better effort on the class drop. (2) MOST WANTED LINDY is a good one to use underneath, but he still has a goose egg in the win column this year.
Race 2
(7) FOR THE RECORD last time showed a flash of the form she displayed earlier at the meet that resulted in her pacing to a mark of 1:51 2/5. She should be tough vs. these. (5) AZURE SEELSTER put out a good effort to be 2nd in the Grassroots final and she should contend right from the start here. (3) PLAY THE BELL lost to a tough older mare at Flamboro and she barely makes the earnings threshold here. She's another who can take this race that will likely come down to trip. (4) DRY SILK FLOWERS will likely revert to a closing style here and come on late to grab a slice.
Race 3
(1) CLOUD NINE HANOVER comes back quick after trotting a big mile on the rim to be second in an amateur drivers race the other night; top call. (2) HETTIES COMMANDER would be very tough if he could repeat his mile from August 24th in this class; using. (3) HONOR ABOVE ALL frequently hits the board and he could get a trip here; consider for exotics. (7) AMITYVILLE LINDY should be closing from the back for a small share.
Race 4
(7) DOCS SAUSALITO drops to the bottom conditioned level and her final quarters stick out vs. these. She should be hard to beat. (3) PRETTY HOT also drops and moves inside. On paper, she should be the main danger. (5) QUEENOFTHEJUNGLE races in this class for a third time and she usually pops when you least expect it. (8) HP PANDORA raced tough on the engine last time, but the top two might be too tough for her here; using underneath.
Race 5
(3) ARTISTIC MADISON drops off a solid effort and she will be tough as chalk here. (1) ACTION MAJESTY also drops, and she will likely be the main threat to the choice. (4) P L HURRICANE looked great vs. easier, but the top two choices may prove too tough here. (8) BAROCKEY is worth a look on the drop, but post does her no favors here.
Race 6
In a race where it's hard to love anything, I'll give a slight nod to (2) WHATASHOWINONTARIO based on the barn change to Auciello. (1) BIG YELLOW has taken his season's mark here the past two years and he brings great form with him from Ottawa; using. (5) AUDREYS DREAM faced tougher at Flamboro and he could go favored here in a race where he fits well. (4) KAZIMOTO disappointed as chalk last week. He may try to trip out this time.
Race 7
(1) HELLO LOVE broke stride as a big chalk last time, but she was on a good roll prior to that start racing in classes like this one. She can bounce back. (4) DREAMFAIR ETERNITY has a big kick on smaller tracks. She can be right there if she times her move precisely. (5) MALNIFICENT set some big early fractions and held on for third. She can do better here if she can steal a breather. (9) QUINTS DREAM will pop at a big price one of these times; maybe tonight?
Race 8
(4) PARKHILL NONSTOP was a good third here on Tuesday vs. better. He looks good vs. these if he goes. (3) ON THE SLY gets protected here after racing well in a claimer after shipping in. His good late kick should play well vs. these. (7) GLENCOE ZANI will break the goose egg in the win column one time when he avoids a long trip on the rim. (2) STREAMSONG is another who returns quickly that cold sneak into the exotics here.
Race 9
(5) DONT STOP BELIEVIN beat all but two of these last week and she will be tough here right back. (4) MACHNHOPE was impressive winning the Grassroots final and she should be the one the choice will have to fend off late. (1) BEACH GODDESS is racing well these days and she should be closing for a slice. (7) BIG THONG is capable vs. these on her best but seems more likely to take a share here.
Race 10
(1) REQUEST FOR PAROLE takes a big drop here and note she was an easy winner one class higher six starts back; top call. (3) WANDA BAYAMA raced well in this class two starts back and she should hit the ticket. (2) BIG CHUTE regularly finishes in the top four and she's a good one to use underneath in this spot. (6) JET TO THE BEACH has a better chance to share here with a move to a better post. (4) KIWI FOCUS N can show some early speed in this spot and she could better this placing with a decent trip.
